The Grasshopper (1970)
Average movie, great ending
So this movie is a slice of Life In 1970 Las Vegas. Kind of depressing. Goes from mildly depressing to very depressing. But it has the funniest ending of any movie I have ever seen.
Red Light (1949)
Better than the current rating
This is a pretty good movie. I had recorded it but was reluctant to watch it because of the 6.4 rating. Well, one Sunday afternoon after going to brunch and drinking mimosas, i took a nap to sober up and decided to check it out. It was pretty good, especially if you are a George Raft, Virginia Mayo, or Raymond Burr fan. The only thing weird about the movie is that the entire musical score is various renditions of Ave Maria.
Libel (1959)
Better than the 7.1 rating it currently has
This movie is really good. A must for any Olivia DeHaviland fan or Dick Bogarde. During the court trial over libel accusations against the character Buckingham, during testimony, you can just see in Olivia's eyes about beginning to doubt whether her husband is really her husband. It is all in Olivia's eye movements and facial expressions. This movie is rated 7.1 currently on this site. I think it should be more like a 7.5 or so. I highly recommend it. It also has a grand ending.
