Let's Be Real (2020)
Hilarious!
Baby Fauci and Trump Road show cracked me up! The Cuomo segments are right on target. I enjoy the satire.
His House (2020)
An incredible film.
I loved this film. Although it is categorized as a drama, horror, and thriller, I found it to also be unexpectedly beautiful and unique. I'm going to watch it again!
The Suicide Theory (2014)
Excellent!
I really enjoyed this film. I'm couch bound and running out of things to watch so I gave it a shot despite the overall rating; and I'm happy I did! It was a good thriller and had a nice twist. Kept me entertained and that's saying a lot.
The Boys (2019)
Dark anti-hero binge worthy series
I love this series! Dark, gritty, well-acted, and an interesting storyline. Reminds me of a brighter version of Sin City or Watchmen; but more anti-hero. It's so good! It takes a lot to catch my attention for a full series and this one definitely has my attention. I think it's unique and fresh. Give it a shot!
A Vigilante (2018)
Great movie on an uncomfortable topic
An oppressed woman finds herself and her revenge. Slow moving and painful for some but perhaps it was meant to reflect the agony of a long abusive relationship. Abuse is uncomfortable to watch, but please wake up; it goes on all around us!
Women protagonist bother "some audiences." But I do find it quite interesting that an oppressed male protagonist that finds revenge in the end of MANY blockbuster movies are praised and generally rated quite highly. I say enough with the "A** kicking male movies" as well as car chases. This was a unique film with an interesting plot and great acting. I say, well done!
Mid90s (2018)
If you grew up in the mid 90s skateboarding...
If you grew up in the mid 90s skateboarding, you will relate to this film. It was nostalgic AF. The soundtrack was on point. The skateboards, clothing, posters, CDs, and most of the set props were all as I remember in the mid 90s. It was so good. So much like we remember growing up. Skateboarding, hip hop, 40s and weed. If you know, then you know. I loved this film! Those little actors were incredible and totally believable. I felt like I was back in high school. Remembering how fun it was to be young and free. If you never lived that life, you'll never understand it. 10 stars!!
