Nancy Goes to Rio (1950)
Dated film
Story and the style is just not of this time period. The writing is terrible. I don't know how Carmen Miranda ever became popular. This is just silly fluff and I wouldn't waste my time.
Night Gallery: The Sins of the Fathers/You Can't Get Help Like That Anymore (1972)
Creepy
I only saw the show once when it was 1st aired.. My husband and I both remember it well. It was so well done and so creepy at the same time. Anything that has that much effect on viewers deserves of 10.
B Positive (2020)
poor casting
The lead characters have to be appealing and somewhat attractive. Attractive can mean personality or looks. The male lead is neither. He's beyond dorky and somewhat repulsive. Change him and you might have a winner....
changing all the other characters is not the solution.
Last year's theme song with the picture was much better with the cartoons. This year's is just too frenetic without substance.

If It's Tuesday, This Must Be Belgium (1969)
Scenery isn't enough
This film is quite dated and not funny. And looking at the beautiful stannary is not enough.
Catch 21 (2008)
The new Version sucks.
I do not understand why they changed the rules of the game. It was successful in the old version. And it was more fun in the old version. The new gal isn't as good, she's too sedate. They don't really make use of the audience like they used to. The host is not as animated as he used to be. He dressed more casually before and I had more fun with a show. I like the old Format of multiple choice, and of giving a chip for each game you won plus 1 for winning the whole thing. I'm writing this because we watch the old version, but we almost never watch the new version. My husband feel the same way about the new show.
On an Island with You (1948)
Goody movie, but Esther Williams is fun to watch
I was surprised to see centuries in Brown makeup all over, basically blackface. I guess they still did things like that at that time.
Catch 21 (2019)
Catch 21 is a failure
GS San itself advertises that the original catch toward one is the most popular game show on its network. If that is true, why in the world did they change the show? I don't like the new version. I like the questions when they were multiple choice. I like the way the rules were before. We tend to watch the old ones but we don't watch the new ones.
Law & Order: Punk (1998)
Cara Buono is the star
This is a gripping story, but Cara Buono made this episode. Her performance is a standout! Why is she listed below the men? I had a difficult time finding out who she is. I just rewatched the episode for about the 4th time, always taken by her portrayal.
Return to Me (2000)
A bitter sweet rom-com.
A rom-com that shows you life is not perfect. I love the writing and Bonnie Hunt's character with her husband....it seems somewhat improvisational. The older characters add a warmth and depth to the story.
Wrapped Up In Christmas (2017)
Disappointing
This was supposed to be a Hallmark Hall of fame movie. That used to be a sign of something exceptionally good not the same old schlock. This is just in the long list of Hallmark Christmas movies .
If I had a young daughter, I would not allow her to watch these movies, because they give a false impression of what love and finding the right person is.
I expected more out of the Hallmark Hall of fame trademark.
I remember one exceptional actresses like Glenn Close appeared. ( This is nothing against Tatiana Ali.)
Christian Mingle (2014)
Typical
Another in a long line of cornball Hallmark Christmas movies. Even their Hallmarks Hall of fame movies are no longer the great movies of the past.
