Triangle of Sadness (2022)
Awful
Whatever you do, don't pay to watch this nonsense. It's a film that criticises but at the same time seems to celebrate those who are awful in society. Woody must be broke to make nonsense like this. The people who give it good reviews are probably the people who can see themselves in the film whilst they watch their bank account grow whilst more idiots buy perfume or aftershave. You can take a look in the mirror and hate yourself or if someone holds one up it lets you have a giggle and you don't have to change. Truly terrible rubbish. I'd prefer to have a fashionable meal of uncooked pork, chicken and gone off fish than watch a sequel.
The Unbearable Weight of Massive Talent (2022)
Awful.
I've come out of review retirement to write this. Either Cage went on a massive ego trip to get this made or someone had too much to drink one night. This is a boring poorly executed unwatchable mess. There's no way the reviews here are real. We need honesty these days, give this a massive miss.
The Paper Tigers (2020)
Funny action martial arts film
A fun light hearted comedic but also fairly hardcore martial arts film. Never done before like this. Appealed to me as a 40 year old man who used to study martial arts and misses it, well worth a watch and hiring. Some scenes are quite violent so not suitable for young kids. Enjoy.
Wrong Place, Wrong Time (2021)
So bad
This another example of how easy it is to budget a film with little money but still do nothing apart from lay on the cheese. I've been watching vapire/horror films for 30 years and this is awful. Do not spend money renting this film. I know it's hard to stop it but good reviews must have come from friends and family. Good luck finding something else.
Run Hide Fight (2020)
Ameeeericaaaaa
Pretty good action film if you don't take it too seriously with a fashionable "strong female protagonist". Basically die hard set in a school.
Bliss (2019)
Not worth any money
Low budget cliches you might enjoy it if you're a teenager and swearing/ drug references don't really achieve the sort of experience I was expecting from an arthouse film. I watched it on shudder the horror subscription but would have been horrified to pay extra for it. I spend a lot of time in the real metal world as well and virtually no one uses heavy drugs. I find it irritating and offensive when a film has to go to punk or metal or goth clubs when a film gets dark. Rent or buy if you want but i'd put my spare money to a pizza than this.
