What If...?: What If... Zombies?! (2021)
Lord almighty it was bad
Jesus Christ man. This episode was the worst by far. Terrible writing, and insanely unfunny jokes. Such a disappointment when the Zombie episode was so hyped.
The Green Knight (2021)
Perfect Fantasy Initiation Tale
If you like fantasy and arthouse, this movie is for you! It's told in the tradition of an ancient myth, full of symbolism and strangeness. Not to mention that it's gorgeous with a great soundtrack.
Z.P.G. (1972)
A bleak and artful take
I personally don't understand the amount of negative reviews for this movie, as I personally enjoyed it a lot. I was waiting for it to slow to a halt, essentially, as that's what I had read in several reviews. However, I actually found myself totally engaged all the way through.
People compare it to Logan's Run, which is fair, but that may be the reason they don't like it: while Logan's Run is a thrilling Sci Fi-adventure escape from a dangerous future, Z.P.G. is a marital drama set against a world which highlights how evil people can be. "What are you gonna do? It's a nasty world" (or something along those lines"
In that context, this movie moves exactly at the pace you'd expect, focusing on the subtle relationship between Reed and Chaplin, and the difficulties they face.
Uncut Gems (2019)
Everyone did a damn good job
Absolutely insane-which is perfect, as it follows the insane life of Howard, played PERFECTLY by Adam Sandler. In fact, all the actors and actresses did phenomenal jobs. Plus the soundtrack is perfect. And the movie is stunningly and chaotically gorgeous.
Daniel Isn't Real (2019)
Such a good film!
I just want to say, to anyone and everyone who worked on this movie: you all did a fantastic job and I really loved this movie. Much love to you all. It blew me away. Completely insane, gorgeous, and fun.
Circle (2015)
Thrilling!
A very enjoyable film. My friends and I were on the edge of our seats.
Tarô-san no kisha (1929)
So charming!
I love silent films like these. The visuals are sweet and fun, and very funny! Also, the version of this that I watched had great music. I wish I could find the song somewhere.
