Terrifier 2 (2022)
Story Lacks Where Kills Overkill
The story is absolute garbage. It's extremely slow. And the kills are over the top. But let's be real, people who like Art aren't here for a good story, (no offense).
For a slasher movie with many slow scenes that should have been on the cutting room floor, this movie was too long.
My rating is low because the movie dragged and left more questions than answers. The acting wasn't great but I also wasn't really expecting it to be either.
The kills were a lot but that's Art the Clown, so no one should expect any less. But I don't think I'll rewatch this movie because of how slow it moved. Just got to the point where you wanted it to end.
Malignant (2021)
Don't recommend
This movie was terrible. Look, I like James Wan and was excited for a new horror movie from him but this was not it. From the get-go, it was not good. If you've seen the equally bad movie Sisters (1972) this movie is like that mixed with Voldemort/Professor Quirrell. 80% of the acting was bad, the music was too loud/dramatic for the scenes, and the CGI could've used some work. There was one scene in particular, near the end, that looked like it was a video game - that's how unrealistic it looked. Needless to say, I'm glad I didn't go to the theaters to watch this and I don't recommend this movie.
True Blood: In the Beginning (2012)
This is dumb
You're telling me that Salome was the one who found Russel? Wow I'm shocked. Please sense my sarcasm. It was obvious from the beginning that she was in on it. The fact that none of the characters even thought about this shows how awful this season is.
I just don't care about The Authority and their Bible. I'm ready for this season to be over, if I even finish it.
A Classic Horror Story (2021)
Didn't mind it
I had to rewind a couple of times because I missed something but I don't hate the movie. I don't think it's terrible and I felt satisfied by the ending.
The Remains (2016)
Nope
This was just not very good. The acting, for me, was tough to get around. Also the oldest daughter who is a teenager but played by a 30 year old woman was distracting. Like I thought she was the mom from the trailer but no.
Friday the 13th (2009)
Nope
As a fan of the original movies this was doesn't make sense to me. I get that people want to make a reboot but come one. Jason all of a sudden has some underground layer and holds a person captive? No just doesn't make sense. Jason isn't smart enough for that.
Deadly Switch (2021)
Didn't make sense
Firstly, this movie is very predictable. Except for the ending. Speaking of the ending, it made no sense. If Monica's parents think that Camilla is dead...then why hide Camilla? Why get a girl to be Camilla?? She's "dead" so she could've just ran away to another state. Movie would have been better had non-Camilla enacted revenge.
Cam (2018)
Wouldn't recommend
This was not a horror/thriller movie. The premise was lost on me. If you like watching cam girls then you'll like this movie. There seemed to be more footage of that rather than scary things happening.
I don't understand how banging her head made the "thing" go away.
This would've been a way better movie if one of the guys contacting her went after her.
I also think her family was not important to the story and was a distraction. I guess it was made to make her seem like everyone else, as cam girls are. But it seemed more distracting than anything else.
Literally, Right Before Aaron (2017)
Nope
Honestly this movie had some good funny bits in it. I laughed out loud a few times. However, it's just really sad. The ending sucks. There's no resolution, really. Just a waste of an hour and 40 minutes.
