Bad, not good, don' waste your time on this
2 April 2023
Bad, not good, don't waste your time on this. It was literally, without overexeggerating the worst movie I'd ever seen. Only one hour in, I walked out of the theatre. Never done that before. My standards aren't even that high. The acting was over the top bad. Only Chloe Coleman acted like she cared, no one else gave two ... about the script. Even soaps are better than this. Don't say people didn't warn you. Avoid this at all cost. People in the theatre where laughing with what I thought were bad jokes. Even I saw the jump scares coming from a mile away. No, no no don't spend time nor money on this.

Why does the lead character agree to do the job?
3 May 2022
Warning: Spoilers
That's the first thing that really annoyed me. You take this job of this really shady corporation, of which you can find nothing on the internet, with a shady boss, who knows almost ever little detail of your life, just because the girl's dog looks like yours.

Other than that (the story has to take off one way or another), I really liked the first episode, up untill the end. Red flag number one.

In the beginning of the second episode, Jess gets abducted. Strange that that happened so early in the show, red flag number two. I liked her character.

Red flag number three came in like a third into episode 2. That plot twist really bothered me, and I turned it off. Too bad, if it wasn't so on the nose, I could have kept watching, maybe all the way up untill the end.

It's a found footage show, so limit yourself to that footage, don't go creating other things, whle the main character clearly isn't filming what's going on.

I don't like when the camera shoots from a place where the main character hasn't gone already, or won't go because she doesn't like that place, because of who lives there, or another reason.

All things considered, I really like 85% of the first episode, but what happened in the second drove me off.

As a series finale, this was just a weak episode. Boring.

Room 104
4 November 2020
Other than the Room 104 bits (Inside N 9?) - prison edition - (which I skipped), I liked this episode. I still don't know why Mark's wife is in prison, though. Has it been explained already, or are we supposed to guess? And, how did Erin get back home?

Christmas atmosphere
2 August 2020
NOS4A2 really brings in that Christmas mood for me: all the nice Christmas songs, the snow everywhere, being joyfully together, children getting abducted, people being gruesomely murdered,...

Not bad in comparison to other DC shows
27 May 2020
Three episodes in and I like this show a lot better than what Supergirl, The Flash, Legends and Arrow have become, and they keep making new seasons of that garbage, so why not this?

Not Dane Dean or James DeHaan
12 February 2020
Okay, with DeHaan's track record, maybe he wasn't the right actor for the role of the iconic (that word is an understatement) James Dean. But who is, tell me? I remember watching this film a couple of days before 2020 on a cold night in my bedroom on my laptop. This film had been on my watch list for at least a year and a half, and finally I decided to give it a go. I wasn't disappointed. What most people ignore is that we see a portrait of James Dean mostly before he becomes this world famous movie star, or this dead icon which name appears on the great billboards, covers of magazines and news papers, and in Madonna's song Vogue in between numerous other 20th century icons. That's what makes this film so special. "Who is James Dean and why should we have an item on him in our magazine?", is an opinion stated early on in the film. The more important things are the fact that James Dean's fame doesn't rise to his head, and that he tries as much as possible to stay out of the spot lights. The movie is built around the photos that are taken during his lifetime. Each photo has a story. Life is a breath taking movie. It sucks you in and only lets go at the end. I genuinely liked it.

El Arbi and Fallah become notorious world wide
23 January 2020
This movie was excellent. I liked the story. Lawrence and Smith had no trouble finding their natural chemistry again, like they had in Bad Boys 1 and 2 as well. You could notice that Michael Bay was off and El Arbi and Fallah on. I missed a moment were Burnett and Lowrey encouraged each other verbally around bad guys and then reach for their guns (BB1: "It's for your lack of respect for other people's property). I also missed some experimental camera work (BB 2: "A bullet in the head will really mess up your extensions"). I enjoyed what the AMMO team brought to the table. This could have been worked out a lot better, I think. Hopefully they do that in Bad Boys 4. Hudgens, Ludwig and Melton did a great job, bringing their own humour and style. There were some references to the other movies, but there could have been more. I really hope there will be a next installment with the same directors, and that El Arbi and Fallah will have a very rich career ahead of them. If you liked this movie, then check out Gangsta, El Arbi's and Fallah's film before this one.

My very high expectations were not fullfilled
9 January 2020
Sarah Goldberg and Henry Wnkler undermine Bill Hader's efforts to make this show the least bit funny. I've seen four episodes and the love affair between Goldberg's and Hader's character becomes lamer each episode. Like a serial killer would actually become a stage actor and fall for someone who constantly criticizes him... The game of attract and reject is the most stupid I've watched in years, if not ever. And I don't like Anthony Carrigan's accent. I loved him in Gotham, but this show? Why can't Russian actors play Russian characters? I began watching this show with very high expectations, but got disappointed really fast.

One, two, three, piano
5 July 2019
Imagine playing 'One, two, three, piano' with your friends. The game begins. You turn your face away and say the magic words. You turn back and whoever of the contestants is still moving, and you notice that, has to start again. The one who reaches your position firstly is the winner and takes your position for the next game.

Now, imagine playing this game, but with your life on the line, with contestants who can drain your life energy and send you back in time, to a century ago, where you have to live the rest of your life without a chance of seeing your loved ones again. That's what happens with The Doctor and Martha this episode. Well, that's what happens to Kathy Nightingale. Kathy's friend, Sally Sparrow, and Kathy's brother, Larry.

It's about a land mansion, and a mysterious Police Box underneath an actual police station. It's about a group of mysterious creatures, who only live in your split second of eye blinking, and who are insanely fast and just as ruthless.

It's not an episode for the faint hearted. It's not an episode where The Doctor and his companion are the central characters. It's not an episode as any you've seen before. But it is an episode which you'll watch sitting on the edge of your seat. And it is an episode which will leave you speechless and shocked.

Let the adrenaline give you a rush. But, whatever you do, don't blink. Under their fingers, they've got their eyes on you, and they'll catch you before you realize you were being watched in the first place.

Very strong beginning, but afer 40-45 min bad
29 May 2019
If you skip the opening sequence and start when it cuts to Valerian's space ship, the fun begins. The movis is really funny and Dane and Cara do a good job, not very good, but okay. I like Dane's style, but he is an actor who does and says things his own way. The sequence that follows, particularly at the market, it's visually speaking one of the greatest films I've seen. The dialogues are on point, the story is funny and the effects fantastic. But when they leave that planet again, the movie slows down with just some strong points (like Valerian's straight on death ride). I wouldn't spend too much money on it, if I were you. I've seen the opening sequence a couple of times now and still it wows me. The plot is way too obvious and simple.

In all ways a poor episode
21 January 2019
In every way possible this episode didn't match my expectatons. This is not the kind of episode that makes me want more, but I did watch Black Museum and my hunger for more is all the way back now. The black and white colours in Metalhead were totally out of place.

Second part is boring
17 December 2018
This movie starts off like a rocket launched into space. Unfortenately, about fourty-five minutes in the movie, it slows down to almost a stand still. The down side is that you still have almost an hour and a half to go.The story still has a couple of things to say, but not enough to fill the void. I was really surprised though by Lady Gaga and Bradley Cooper, who played both really well. For both, the first time really, that I saw them in a movie. There is a lot of swearing going on, so think twice about bringing young children!
