Comedy Nights with Kapil (2013)
Awesome comedy TV show.
Awesome show. Must watch for all the people. Kapil Sharma has always been my favorite comedy artist and in this show too he'll never let you down. There are many other artists in the show including Ali Asgar as Dadi and Sumona as Mrs. Kapil Sharma. The show is very popular in India and even in abroad. A must watch for all the people because life is to enjoy to the full and comedy nights with Kapil will help you for sure. The concept of the show is also very good. Every sat and sun I laugh a lot.If making fun of people who are different and don't look, sound, or behave like your typical Bollywood star is funny, then this is the funniest show i've seen in years.
Badlapur (2015)
Finally a Good Varun Dhawan Movie.
Revenge is a dish which gets more wicked and erratic with time and that's what Badlapur Film is all about. With retribution at its theme, the film delivers more than just revenge. What makes the film promising, is it's uncanny narrative and treatment. Badlapur isn't about the traditional Good Guy vs Bad Guy film, but it's about two minds pushing each other to the extreme level and most importantly, its about Revenge vs Expiation. The transition of the characters is a treat to watch. When it comes to the actors, Varun Dhawan waves off the lover boy image and spells the most challenging performance of his career by blending depth and maturity into Raghu's character. Nawazuddin Siddiqui, once again leaves no stones unturned in his performance. The songs are apt and adds the perfect vibe to the film. Hats off to Sriram Raghavan for his concrete direction and creating something different like Badlapur and ek hasina thi is also a good movie.
Whiplash (2014)
Awesome movie.
In the beginning we know nothing about no one ,but throughout we we find out Fletcher's and Andrew's personality and there dreams.
The end is really tense, I caught myself cheering for Andrew and when he whispered 'Go to hell' to Fletcher, I was like 'Go to hell'You go Andrew!'.
I don't really like ambiguous endings, but this was totally amazing , and it makes you think about what happened after...and what happened to Andrew (did he become a legend or not),and you can see pride on Fletcher's face and him and Andrew's father realizing that he finally found the next Charlie Parker.
I hope this movie or the actors will receive Oscars because they deserve it!
The Imitation Game (2014)
Good movie.
This is THE movie for anyone who wants to learn about the birth of all modern computing and cryptography. It also provides a deep commentary on the ignorance of people who hate those who do not fit in. I wish the film could have gone into more detail about Alan Turing after the war when his deepest personal struggles were in full force. However, for a theatrical film it would have been far too long. This film illustrates how far we have come as a society in terms of accepting gay and lesbians and their contributions to society. I will not spoil the film but for the cypherpunks out there you will be a little uneasy if you compare the MI-6 tactics to those of today's NSA and other three letter agencies that spy on our every digital move. All in all a brilliant film with great actors that will move your hearts and minds.
Haider (2014)
Brilliant Movie.
Haider is one of my most awaiting movie of the year., I must say this is the best work done by Shahid Kapoor in his whole career. Tabu is natural in her role. The supporting cast Kay Kay Menon is good. Shraddha is also good.
The relationship between Tabu and Shahid was far beyond than Imagination. Their Chemistry rocks and binds the viewers by their Performances. The story, screenplay, and dialogues are very good. Songs are superb. The track Bismil becomes too good with Shahid Dance and Expression. The Psychotic role in second half rocks. The guest appearance by Irfan Khan is superb. The back ground score is good.
All in All I say this Movie is must watch. Ten on Ten
3 Idiots (2009)
Aamir Khan WoW!!!
Aamir does it again. what a movie .from start to the end, hilarious moments.screenplay is fantastic. full on comedy and yet it never looses its heart. Aamir pulls off a 22 year old character with brilliance. never for once you feel you are watching Aamir Khan.It was rancho on screen. sharman and madhavan - I bow down to them. music looks OK on cd but during movie it worked as a plus point. situational tracks works in the favour of film. runtime may sound a bit too much but believe me, you wont know when the first half is over. second half may seem a bit too hilarious but apart from that its a masterpiece. gr8 aamir ,another brilliant movie.
The Shawshank Redemption (1994)
The Shawshank Redemption deserves Top 1.
Shawshank Redemption is a very moving story about hope and the power of friendship. The cast is first rate with everyone giving a great performance. Tim Robbins and Morgan Freeman carry the movie, but Bob Gunton and Clancy Brown are perfect as the Warden Norton and prison guard captain Hadley respectively. And James Whitmore's portrayal of an elderly inmate Brooks is moving. The screenplay gives almost every actor at least one or more memorable lines through out the film. As well as a very surprising "twist" near the end that almost knocked me out of my chair. If you have not seen this movie rent it or better yet buy it. As I bet you'll want to see this one more than once.
The Lord of the Rings: The Return of the King (2003)
The Lord of the Rings: trilogy is excellent .
Lord of the Rings-The Return of the King is surely the greatest movie ever made.
I consider that is has the most fascinating plot ever written. The universe of the movie is unique: a fantastic world which includes almost every mythical creature we heard of. Elves, orcs, trolls, hobbits, all these make up a charming atmosphere.
The idea of a Ring that can submit the will of it's bearer is surely unique is recalls all throughout the movie. Also, the love story between Aragorn and the immortal Arwen is the most original one seen in the entire history of movies. The fate of king Debethor reminds us of Greek tragedies and the film contains great moral learnings, most in the words of the wizard Gandalf.
The fantasy and the charming, sublime atmosphere make me consider this movie the greatest work or art ever created by mankind.
Baby (2015)
Neeraj Pandey and Akshay kumar are Awesome
Its rare, in its extremity, for Bollywood to make a masterpiece. But once in a while they do and this year Neeraj Pandey and Akshay Kumar gave a classic like "BABY". Every scene, background score, cinematography and almost everything is done to perfection. And that second half will glue you to your seat! such a thrill, such a tension, the effort put by director is so brilliant that you will feel like cheering up. None of the characters are wasted. Everyone has a important part to play in. The acting is superb. Everyone, and I mean literally everyone has acted so well that sometime you feel like you are not even watching a movie. Anyone who loves watching Bollywood movies, should not miss this classic. It's a classic, a masterpiece and kind of movie that is made once in a decade. Simply stating it, Its one of the finest movie ever made in Bollywood. Akshay Kumar is brilliant.
PK (2014)
Awesome movie.
Excellent (P.K hai kya?). Awesome. PK is the biggest achievement of Aamir Khan's carrier and Rajkumar Hirani too. Aamir acting. The film has everything. Emotion, Drama, Comedy, Message which literally means perfection. PK was the toughest character for not just Aamir Khan but, for anyone in the Bollywood industry. Not only Aamir, but Anushka Sharma and Sanjay Dutt did a very good job of their character which I think no one could have done. Sushant Rajput also did a fine job of his character.Like everything in this film is perfect. I insist you to go and enjoy the film because it's like a word of mouth movie, but 3 idiots is better then pk.
