Could have been done better
I like the idea, the events and most of the people that were picked to compete.
There were a few interesting and surprising results throughout the show.
I guess the whole "never judge a book by it's cover" is true and this is a good example of it even though the outcome for the most part is easy to predict.
However It felt over produced and way too long.
The events were pretty good but should have been cut down a lot. When you have 1 person cheering in 4 different camera angles you kind of lost the point of the show in my opinion.
Better edits with half the airtime and I would have added 2 more stars.
From (2022)
Interesting plot, poorly executed.
The trailer looked good and I got some good vibes from it, however the story writing and tempo/feel of it is really boring.
The acting is so bad you completely lose interest in what's being said and just focus on how bad it is. Especially whenever the old man ever said/did anything. I guess it's good that he got killed off in episode 2, but he should have been killed off before the show even began.
I have very little hope for this after 2 episodes, but I will come back and edit this if I ever get to finish the first season.
A Deadly Adoption (2015)
Why?
I struggle to understand why Will Ferrell and Kristen Wiig would even consider and let alone act in this movie.
They don't fit at all. The story is weak and the dialogue is poorly written.
I would rate it lower, but it's Will Ferrell and Kristen Wiig after all.. even though there is absolutely nothing funny about this movie.
Project Pay Day (2021)
-"I'm 15"
You say that, Jaz Goodreau, but you look like you are at least 30.
I don't know why a lot of studios do this, but it is weirding me out.
Zack Snyder's Justice League (2021)
Does Zack know what widescreen is?
This is an improvement to the first release for sure, but not making the movie fullscreen or widescreen is a major letdown for me.
Is Zack secretly a fan of the vertical clips on youtube?
Or maybe he just wanted to try something really stupid like when Metallica made some songs with Lou Reed recently?
Either way he made a really silly and deliberate mistake that makes no sense.
Dracula: The Dark Compass (2020)
Potentially good. Last episode made it bad.
First episode was great (8/10)
Second was really good (7/10)
Third was like it was picked up by some random indie company that had not watched the first 2 episodes. Quite bad (3/10)

Damned (2016)
What a mess
I really wanted to like this. Alan is such a character on Q.I. and I haven't really seen him outside of it. The setting is something that could have the potential of being something like The Office, but I got a serious headache out of it and only half way through the first episode I had to stop watching. It wasn't funny at all and I generally love all the comedy that is produced on Britich television. It was such a mess with phones ringing all the time and very short and seemingly unimportant encounters that you just wanted it to end. Everything seems to have been filmed by a 6-year old too because it's very shaky and badly filmed. I hope it does become better after half the first episode, but even if it does, it has to be so much better that I actually think it will be impossible.
