Racial Exhaustion Again

Born into Upper Middle Class Texas in 1962, I remember the extreme racism of the time. It hurt MY feelings to see PEOPLE of color treated so poorly. My parents and both sets of grandparents employed housekeepers of color, who were like SECOND MOMs to me. I loved them, their culture, spirituality and sense of family I, unfortunately, did not have. INCREDIBLE WATCH, and a STARK reminder of the HATE so many people still carry.

I'm so tired of all the NAYSAYERS.. Every film is NOT an Oscar Worthy vehicle. Netflix is making some GREAT Films, some Good Films and so on. This film was VERY GOOD. Its a MYSTERY and behaves as a Rather good one. Heche,Jane and Patric are fantastic as always and the plot will keep even the most SAVY mystery geeks (myself inc) guessing til the END I got it "almost right" lol. And don't expect to have EVERY subplot spelled out for you by the end. Who likes a "SpoonFed" film anyway? Not ME

I don't know why there are so many negative reviews about this series. It might not be "True Detectives" but its definitely holding its own. Each episode WILL leave you wanting more, which is a pretty good indicator of good TV in my book. Every time you're SURE you have it figured out, here comes another curve ball. The unknown/unfamiliar cast does a great job. Who doesn't have love for "Black Jack Rackam of Black Sails", "Sam Merlot of True Blood" and "Daniel Holden of Rectify"? Don't let other peoples negative opinions sway you from at least trying this series and forming your OWN opinion.

Alaska PD (2020– )

Whoa.... Such HATERS

I don't normally watch COP shows as they all seem the same. However, ALASKA PD isn't just about COPS. That is if you're smart enough to REALIZE it. This show is about HOW these cops have to be Officers, Social Workers, Rescuers and often Adventurers. They live in a State without enough Social Service support, Mental Health care facilities and in some cases Medical support. I think these guys and a few gals are AMAZING... They care about their communities and the PEOPLE living there. Who cares WHERE they recruit from? Thank GOD Alaskan Law Enforcement realizes it takes a SPECIAL personality to work in this environment and therefore CANNOT hire everyone who applies. Also, the scenery is BEAUTIFUL.... No other COP show compares.

Beautifully Intriguing

Why the bad reviews? This series offers a new and interesting tale of culture and tradition. I love the new take on the UNDEAD. Actors are very believable allowing you to suspend belief and be immersed in the tale. Scenery is beautiful. I LOVE it.

OMG... STOP COMPLAINING

I AM AMERICAN.... I did NOT find the dialects difficult to understand. I found the acting and storyline intriguing and heartbreaking from Episode 1 on. I too miss Broadchurch but don't feel it necessary to compare everything remotely similar to it. The scenery alone is beautiful. I know here in STATES, we have the ability to simply change the channel if we don't find the content intriguing. Do yourself a favor and TOTALLY watch THE BAY, its wonderful in every way. I myself CANNOT wait for Season TWO
