Greetings from Lithuania.
"Dragged Across Concrete" (2018) is slow burning movie that explodes in bursts of violence and gore. It's a very slowly paced, yet at the same time methodically build movie that is hard to love, but easy to admire. If you have seen previous few movies made by this director, "Concrete" does not much different from them. I liked the unpredictable nature of the storytelling, writing and directing. It's a long movie and the pacing can be crusual here, but when all comes into places - the second half of this movie is a rollercoaster.
Overall, this is a slow, violent and brutal thriller that I really liked.
