I like thriller, drama and animation films above all. I'm pretty picky when it comes to rate them.
I find IMDb very interesting, for it allows me to have a complete list of all the films I have seen (which is essential for me) and I can find lots of information about them.
I am demanding when watching a film; I judge every single aspect of it. My favourite genres are Animation, Fantasy and Horror/Thriller.

La piel que habito (2011)
The first and only Almodóvar film that I really enjoyed
Almost every film I have seen from this director have seemed shockingly weird to me... you probably know what I mean.
Well, I went to the cinema with certain skepticism... I didn't know exactly what I was going to see with this film.
Whoa! Forget about all those topics from previous Almodóvar films... this is simply a good thriller. There's no boring plot about housewives in trouble, no loads of transvestites or eccentric characters, no PENÉLOPE CRUZ (again), no crude humor...
Well, it is a disturbing film in fact, but in the good way. People who don't know anything about the plot will enjoy it the most. It has a really shocking plot twist. You don't know anything about the woman who is in that room, and you start to wonder...
In my case, I thought it would leave me without answers or without getting the plot, but after the flashback, all the pieces start to fit and you are easily able to understand the whole thing, and that's pretty satisfying for me.
Apart from this, I really like how homosexuality (or rather, transsexualism) is dealt here without ridiculous or humiliating stereotypes (I think this is the first time in a film from Almodóvar), and I love both Anaya and Cornet, who help to break the disgusting Spanish/Latino stereotype (aren't they white enough...?)

The Neverending Story II: The Next Chapter (1990)
The Ridiculending Story
This film doesn't just lack every charming and wonderful feature from the original, but it also has a lot of absurd things.
Let's start from the beginning: music is not worthwhile in the whole film (not even at the opening sequence, in contrast to Limahl's masterpiece).
I don't like it when the same characters from a previous film are performed by different actors in a sequel, and this happens here with many ones. To top it all, both Mr. Koreander and the Childlike Empress act exactly the same way and say the same things they did in the first film (but this time she's not so pretty, her pleas are tedious and her hairstyle is just ghastly).
What happened to Bastian? Now he's such an impertinent brat who wastes the precious wishes from the Auryn, asking for more and more stairs instead of wishing a hundred of them at once (by the way, why didn't the Auryn grant wishes in the first film? Pathetic). Besides, he could have defeated all enemies with one single wish... so that doesn't make sense.
Other characters like the Rockeater are flat. And I don't even want to mention Xayide. What kind of idiot would want to destroy a world where he lives? Is she a suicide? What were the screenwriters thinking? The film reaches its most pathetic level when the father reads the book and quickly believes everything it says, instead of calling the police (a normal person would have think about a kidnapping).
That's all I have to say about this rubbish. Some tender moments between father and son, nice special effects and some entertainment make me give it 4/10 and not a sad 1.

Final Fantasy XIV (2010)
The decline of Square
We shouldn't be surprised about the low quality of the last installment in one of the most popular franchises in the video gaming world.
After Final Fantasy X, all titles released by Square (already joined with Enix) seemed to be worse than the previous titles for PlayStation.
Final Fantasy XII had already lost the "magic" and started which we could call the "decline of Square". XII isn't a bad game though, but we could feel the absence of Nobuo Uematsu in its score, the scenery lacked the charm from previous titles and the characters weren't as original as classic ones like Lulu, Sephirot or Edea.
With Final Fantasy XIII, reviews were even worse. It changed the basic formula of the series radically – to an extent that no pre-release talk hinted at – and struck out on its own. Its linearity can easily bring us to boredom.
Now we have Final Fantasy XIV. I must admit that the graphics are the best in the series (though not as innovative as FFX's were at its moment), but its awful interface, quest restrictions and problems upon release make it clearly one of the worst installments in the series. Even Square Enix itself has sent at least two apologies to their customers, recognizing the poor quality of the game and asking for patience.
OK, we will wait for the PlayStation 3 version, though I don't expect too much. Now we can say for sure that the four gems of Square are Final Fantasy VII, Final Fantasy VIII, Final Fantasy IX and Final Fantasy X (the last one being my favorite).
Fainaru fantajî X (2001)
One of the best experiences in the world
This is more than a video game. This is an authentic experience, a wonderful experience where you will learn and enjoy more than you can imagine.
I discovered this game in 2002, when it was released in Spain (I'm Spanish) and I didn't know what Final Fantasy was before it. Now I'm much more informed about video games, and I know about the entire series. Most people think it's the best RPG series... and some people think that Final Fantasy VII is the best in the series.
Well, I disagree (by the way, Final Fantasy XII is totally disappointing).
For me, Final Fantasy X isn't only the best RPG in the world, but it's the BEST Video game in the world. And I have my reasons:
- Firstly, it has a Soundtrack that is better even than some great Hollywood Movies.
- Secondly, it has the best seven characters ever seen in a video game (each one has its own personality, I can't explain it well).
- And last, it has the best storyline ever seen.
Actually I have more reasons, but I can't write all them.
In conclusion, you MUST have this wonder even if you hate videogames.
