SO FAR SO GOOD
14 February 2022
If you read the first few reviews and skip watching this you will be missing out. You have to put the original aside as a completely separate show. The original was a comedy with a side of drama. The reboot is a drama with a side of comedy. Both are good, just different.

Definitely Worth Watching
3 January 2022
After I warched the first episode of this show I wasn't sold on it. It was cute, but just okay in the humor department. I decided to give it another shot a few week later because I kept seeing positive reviews on it. I'm so glad I did from the second episode o this show really settles into its groove and not a single episode goes by wihout me laughing out loud at least once. The characters are all so quirky and the cast has an excellent rapport with each other. Each episode is very original in it's presentation, but the themes are actually things we all can relate to.

Give It A Solid Try

I'm going to be honest at first I thought this show was just okay, middle of the road. I kept watching because I have heard good things. By episode 3 I was definitely sold on the show. The two leads clearly have chemistry. Once the show settles in they get lots of laughs together. Gina annoyed me in episode one, but by the end of the second episode I was definitely warming up to her quirkiness and by the end of episode 3 she was the best part of the show to me. I also enjoy the banter between Drew and the other patients at the dialysis clinic. If you enjoy sitcoms its definitely worth a shot.

Give It A Solid Chance

I wasn't initially sold on this show completely. It took a few episodes, but they cover all the off the wall fads trends etc. From the 90s so it's impossible not to get drawn into one of the storylines. The two main characters are so awkward you cant help but laugh at them.

Will Put A Smile On Your Face Without You Even Knowing
8 December 2021
This show has a little bit of something for everyone. Its has the comedy factor, so you will definitely laugh here and there. It has several unexpected romances so you will surely find one to root for if not all of them. There also is an extremely diverse cast so there is someone for everyone to identify with. Overall, its very much a feel good experience. You will definitely at times notice that you are smiling while you are watching it even when don't initially realize it.

Really Enjoying This Quirky Show

Not sure why this gets so many bad reviews. The acting is excellent. There is good character development and the story is both intriguing and funny. I wasn't expecting to like it because I couldn't picture Kate Beckinsale in this role, but she's good and it's a very solid show.

I literally laugh out loud when I am doing this show. The dynamic between Brook and Kerry is comic gold. They get into so many hilarious situations both together and separate and their reactions and commentary is raw and funny. Season one was funny, but Season 2 is easily even better.

Love Love Love This Show

I was instantly addicted to this show. The main character Shelia is such a complex person and she comes off as real and authentic. At first glance you wonder what in the world is wrong with her, but episode after episode the pieces of the puzzle are revealed and suddenly you understand what makes Shelia so damaged. I say damaged in a loving way because I can very much identify with the character. My only complaint is that there are only 10 episodes per season.

Hilarious and Original

I'm in love with this show. It's a laugh a minute. Great acting. Original comedy. The only thing I can reasonably compare it to is Third Rock From the Sun, but this is far more sophisticated in its sci-fi elements. Definitely worth a watch. I'm praying it catches on so it doesn't get canceled.

Classic Sitcom Humor At It's Best

Put off watching this show forever because I wasn't convinced I was going to like it. So glad I gave it a try because I'm hooked now. This show is really funny and clever. It has great characters. The best is David the son. He has great comic timing. I can't stop watching this show. I've been binging it since I started a few days ago and I'm already on season 3. Even my husband likes it and he's hard to please.
