Showdown (1993)
Not too bad of a movie!
This was not too bad of a movie! It was about a kid named Ken Marks (probably not Marx)who moved to Phoenix with his mother from Kansas. Right away, he becomes a target by a group of bullies who are karate experts. Unlike the previous movie, 'The Karate Kid,' it happens shortly before he sets eyes on the ringleader's girlfriend. A newly to be acquired friend warns him that the consequences will be bad, if Ken doesn't avoid her. She herself, warns him about her boyfriend, but he didn't listen. On the second of three occasions, the school janitor named Billy came to his aid, as the leader Tom, and his sidekick are about to beat him up. All three of them are unaware that he's a karate expert himself, and easily defeated those two bullies. Then the violence starts to escalate, before Billy decides to teach Ken how to protect himself. Another conflict is that the girlfriend is starting to grow of Tom's behavior. It conclusively, started a rivalry between the two guys! Will Ken be able to defeat Tom? Watch it to find out!
Kalifornia (1993)
Scary and good
It was a good movie, but also scary, because there are people like that serial killer Early Grayce (Brad Pitt). It started out, when Brian Kissler (David Duchavny)placed a flier on a Pennsylvania state College bulletin, about someone going to Kalifornia (California) with him and his girlfriend Carrie (Michelle Forbes). The serial killer Grayce saw that ad on his way to an interview for the janitorial position there. Grayce quickly answered the call. Kissler took him and his girlfriend Adele (Juliette Lewis)in. Carrie was not thrilled about picking up those two without doing a background check. Soon dead bodies start popping up. Will any or all of three heading to California become murder victims themselves? Watch it to find out!
Cyberbully (2011)
Very good and realistic!
It starts out with a girl named Taylor Hillridge who just turned 17, and her mother bought her a lap-top computer. Taylor quickly logged onto a hot new social network called, 'Cliquesters.com,' and soon becomes a target of bullies. Must of it was made up of lies, and one of the bullies was a clique leader named Lindsay Fordyce who ridiculed her at school as well. After being both ridiculed online and at school, Taylor attempted to commit suicide. After being saved her mother and her best friend Samantha, Hillridge and her mother Kris, begin a campaign to put an end to online bullying. Taylor and Samantha finally stands up to Lindsay and her clique. Will Lindsay stop bullying? And will Kris Hillridge be successful at convincing a Senator to pass an anti-cyberbullying bill? American Ninja (1985)
One of the better Ninja Movies
It was about a young man who was enlisted in the Army after given a choice of prison or the service, after nearly killing a man. The young man, Joe Armstrong, doesn't fit into the service at all in the Philippines. He quickly becomes a thorn in both his sergeant and his colonel's sides after he disobeyed a direct order to allow a group of rebels hijack military equipment. However, he wins over the colonel's daughter, after he saves her life from the local rebels and a group of Ninjas. He also befriends his drill instructor after the instructor tested out how good of a fighter Armstrong really was. An person he befriends is a Private named Charlie. Soon, Armstrong's sent off to drop off deliveries, and he realizes that he is a target of a Ninja Assassination Plot. It was a good plan to place the setting in the Philippines, because there was a lot of corruption going on. If you want to know how it ends, watch it to find out.
Batman (1989)
Spectacular!
I first watched this movie in theaters as a child with my father! Jack Nicholson played an outstanding role as 'The Joker,' a.k.a. Jack Napier. It seemed very realistic due to the fact that there are people like 'The Joker,' who later killed his boss Carl Grissom (Jack Palance) for setting him up at a chemical factory. At the factory, Batman (Michael Keaton) had his first battle with a major criminal after fighting petty criminals for a month. Tracy Walter who played Bob, the Joker's sidekick, deserved to be placed as a starring role. Due to the fact, that he was in far more scenes than Grissom. During this movie, Bruce Wayne a.k.a Batman falls in love with a news photographer Vicki Vale (Kim Basinger). Batman vows to defeat this Joker who thrives off of killing people with poisonous gas. In conclusion, Vicky Vale's life becomes endanger when the Joker becomes obsessed with her.
La historia oficial (1985)

She claims that this is a mean prank that her students have pulled on her. She tells a fellow colleague, and he tells her that they were not trying to be funny. Then she began to investigate the truth. She can't believe how oblivious she had been, and now wants to know the truth about what had happened to Gaby's parents. Watch it to find out!
The Hunted (1995)
All right
I believe liked this movie The Hunted better ten years ago, when I saw part of it on television. Despite I like watching movies uncut, I was that much younger. This was not a bad movie, I found it be all right. It was about an American businessman Paul Racine witnessing a murder of a local Japanese woman. The Ninja Cult attempted to kill Racine, and after learning of Racine's survival, they were out to finish the job. Today, I told a friend about this movie, and he thought of it as a comedy. If anyone seen this movie and saw the great lengths and amount of people, they will kill in order get to their target, they would not find it to be so funny. I recommend to this movie to anyone who likes intensity.
No Reservations (2007)
Not a bad Movie!
This was a not a bad movie. This movie was about a chef named Kate Armstrong (Catherine Zeta-Jones) who did not take well to criticism from customers. One day her sister and niece Zoe are coming to pay her a visit, when her sister is killed in an accident. Therefore Armstrong is left to take care of Zoe. Kate is forced by her boss to take a week off, and upon her return, Kate discovers a new chef named Nicholas Palmer has been hired to work with her. Nick has a different personality then Kate, and an open perspective on life. Throughout the movie, Kate works through the difficulty of work, her relationship with Nick, as well taking care of her niece. I overall rate this movie a 6 to 7 out of 10.
Blood Diamond (2006)
Interesting
I watched this movie "Blood Diamond" last week, and I found it to be interesting. It was about a Sierra Leone fisherman named Solomon Vandy being kidnapped by a vicious militia called the R.U.F. (Revolutaniary United Front) forced to work in a diamond mine. The setting of this movie takes place during the Civil War in Sierra Leone. While working in the diamond mine, Solomon discovers a priceless diamond, but after soon Solomon discovers the diamond him and the militia are arrested by the military. That is where Solomon meets up with a South African mercenary named Danny Archer. Archer wants that diamond and soon after Solomon discovers that his family has been separated in this Civil War. This movie has many twists and turns. In order to learn more about this movie the viewers are going to have to watch this movie.
Angel (1999)
Good Show
The television show "Angel" was pretty good. It was a spin-off from the television show "Buffy the Vampire Slayer," where a vampire named Angel moves from Sunnydale, California to Los Angeles. Angel left Sunnydale after his girlfriend Buffy Summers, who is a vampire slayer, graduated from High School in 1999. It was so the two could move on with their lives, but retain an alliance. Possible spoiler Angel was a vampire who with a given soul. If any of the readers want to know how this happened they are going have to watch either Buffy or Angel to find out. This show explores Angel's past and present. Alexis Denisof who plays Wesley Wyndam-Price, is a former watcher (trainer for vampire slayers), joins Angel in Los Angeles during the first season, as does Charisma Carpenter (Cordelia Chase). In Los Angeles, Angel has plenty of villains of his own to battle with the help of his allies. In conclusion, this show is well-worth watching.
Buffy the Vampire Slayer (1997)
Surprising a good show after a movie was made.
This television show 'Buffy the Vampire Slayer' was produced about five years after the movie was released. Here is the plot summary it takes place in Sunnydale, California, after Buffy, and her mom move from Los Angeles. Once in Sunnydale, Buffy realizes that she can't escape her past of being a vampire slayer. Some of the people, she meets or saves from vampires, and other villains, becomes her allies. Here is a possible spoiler, the first three season strongly can relate, to viewers who have either had a crush or was going out with someone they strongly had feelings for, ended badly. Only they still in their heart strongly love that individual. When I first heard about this show, I didn't think much of it, thinking it would be a nosedive compared to the movie. But after coming across some reruns a year after the show ended, I thought that's pretty good. I later bought six out of seven of the DVDs to the show. The acting was pretty good, such as Anthony Stewart Head as Rupert Giles, Buffy's (Sarah Michelle Geller) watcher, Sara Michelle Gellar with her fighting skills as well as acting. Some guest stars were pretty good, such as Julie Benz as Darla, Armin Shimerman as Principal Snyder, Juliet Landau as Drusilla, and so many other stars and guest stars to name. In conclusion, if you want to know more about this show, and other stars, you'll have to watch the show.
The Karate Kid (1984)
Good lesson about Karate.
This movie is about a teenage boy moving to California from New Jersey. When the boy named Daniel LaRusso (Ralph Macchio) arrives, befriends Ali Mills (Elizabeth Shue), and becomes enemies with Johnny Lawrence who is the ex-boyfriend of Ali. Johnny happens to be a black belt in karate. Throughout the movie, Daniel gets beat up several times, by Johnny and his friends who also train in the same dojo Cobra Kai that he does. A Japanese handy-man named Mr. Miyagi knows about these issues, and teaches Daniel that karate is really about self-respect. The duo also learn that the reason why those boys are so violent, is because that is how their sensei John Krease (Martin Kove) is teaching them to be.
Overall I enjoyed this movie.
The Karate Kid Part III (1989)
Good
I first watched this movie "The Karate Kid Part III," when I was thirteen, and I thoroughly enjoyed it. The plot was about the Cobra Kai sensei John Krease still holding a grudge against Daniel LaRusso, and Mr. Miyagi for losing the tournament and his students after wards one year earlier. Krease teams up with his old Vietnam veteran friend and co-owner Terry Silver to get revenge on LaRusso. Silver hires a violent ambitious karate student named Mike Barnes, to get LaRusso to fight him in the All Valley tournament. Silver also starts stalking LaRusso, as well pretending to befriend him, and tells him he can train him for the tournament. Meanwhile Mike relentlessly hounds, and beats Daniel up to sign for the tournament. Miyagi tells Daniel to ignore Mike, but Mike is too much for Daniel, so he turns to Silver for help. If you want to know more about this movie, you are going to have to watch this movie. In conclusion this movie is worth watching.
