Looks like AI artwork.

For almost the entire film, I had the feeling that the script, scenery and actors were just the result of the work of artificial intelligence. So strange, unreal and inhuman film turned out. I do not want to say that ChatGPT or Midjourney will do better, but... Only at the end of the movie the director has added a little of humanization.

Wes Anderson has created a film that is probably best for theatergoers or people who are fans of a Theater. A sort of response to Damien Chazelle's Babylon, probably even with some hint about cinema-theater relations, since invited Margot Robbie on episodic role for some reason.

Strange...very strange movie.

Disenchantment (2018–2023)

From big Expectations to total Disenchantment

When I seen the series for the first time, I mean 1st season, it had interesting scenario, great characters, actors behind the screen, nice humor, amazing illustrations!

The ending of 2nd season has opened a great story of politics in the style of GoT, and it was excited and promising!

But what happened with the series by 4th season? Where is humor, scenario, characters? It turned into boring long playing animation with absolutely unclear plot and scenes of the stories. A lot of actions, but no sense at all...

Did the authors decide to make a joke and give us a real real Disenchantment?

2024 UPD: 5th season of the series even worse than 4th.

________

10 stars - for illustrations, characters, bright worlds and the cast (I love IT Crowd and Mighty Bush guys) 3 stars - for the plot.

Just Brilliant!

An absolutely great episode of such a cute series like MQ!

The script is so interesting, the acting is great, and the post-production is so stylish that this episode could be a great full-length feature film.

This episode, along with episodes such as A Dark Quiet Death (s1e5), Quarantine(s1e10) and Everlight (s1e11) qualitatively distinguishes MQ apart from many other comedy series.
