Great Leads, Terrible Villian
14 April 2021
Warning: Spoilers
Four episodes in and I still have no idea what the hell she's mad about. I enjoy the locations, Sam, Bucky, and Zemo are all super cool. But this mopey brat that sounds like she just discovered Rage Against the Machine is sooooo lame. It's just vauge social commentary about displaced people or something? She complains constantly about how unfair everything is and why her violence is justified. I guess this is Disney's idea of an Anti-hero. It's not working. I'm just hoping the discount Captian America crushes her head.

Bucky and Sam are good together and Zemo is a really charismatic villian. They should have just left this Flag Smasher business as a subplot.

A very charismatic bait and switch

My son and I were both really excited about this because we love to watch all of Hammonds car shows and Mythbusters reruns. It wasn't as, let's say... realistic as we expected. After our initial disappointment and our expectations adjusted we just enjoyed two really fun guys goof around in a Gilligan's Island meets Swiss Family Robinson wish fulfillment sort of way. We had a lot of laughs from both scripted and genuine moments and he picked up some more science fundamentals along the way. I think they should change the concept and try again. Maybe like Monster Garage or something closer to their wheelhouse and straight forward.

Surprisingly outstanding!

I am so over remakes and sequels but I begrudgingly watched it because I was a fan of the film. They were able to capture the wit and charm from the original movie and expand upon the premise with some great new characters and concepts. Definitely give it a try, it is lots of fun.

Very cute show about real people being silly.

It's fun, give inexperienced people minimum time to recreate incredibly complicated recipes. The host Nicole is a nut. It's fun to see someone who doesn't take themselves too seriously! Jaques is hilarious in his own dead pan and pleasant way. The show is a riot. My kids are 5 and 7 and they love it too because it's not a stressful type of cooking competition. The contestants are having fun.
