Spider-Man (2002)

Not bad, and not good. (*MAYBE SPOILERS FOR SOME*)

Not bad: Spiderman is one of the best movies produced from Marvel yet! It's packed with intense fights, excitement, great effects, superb actors/actresses and (a little) love. It is definitely better that Hulk, and almost as good as X-men. Some of the characters could have been played by people with more experience, but the rest of the cast succeeded in making this movie into something worth to remember.

Not good: But! Unfortunatley with all the crap that's around these days, you can easly get bored watching it, because it's clear what will happen: As the good guy (Spiderman/Peter Parker) starts to think that his life is turning into something good, it tilts. The uncle die (Ben Parker) and suddenly a villain comes (Norman Osborn/Green Goblin). The villain makes the good guys life a living hell, he tries to kill him multiple times and he kidnap the girl (Mary Jane "M.J." Watson) which the good guy is in love with. And then the good guy takes out the villain, and he gets the girl. But not here. In Spiderman he "rejects" the girl because he is afraid that she could get hurt. And that (from my POV) is one of the things that makes this special.

X2 (2003)

The best movie ever produced from comic book to movie! (*SPOILERS*)

The first times I saw this movie, on the opening night, I thought that it was going to be know as one of the worst "comic book to movie" movies ever. That was when I saw it the first time. But after I saw it a couple of times more, I truly started to like it. Each times I see this movie I see more and more that shows how stunning X2 can be.

When Colossus break through the wall with his armour up, and the bullets just flew of him while he beats Strykers soldiers up.

The magnificent scene with the big Wolverine vs. Deatstrike battle, where there ain't one calm second. This is just some of the many impressive scenes in X2

The whole "more use of everyones mutant powers" thing, is really something that makes X2 stand out from all the other "comic book to movie" movies. That, and many other things, is something which will make X2 be a movie that will be remembered.

The Simpsons (1989– )

One of the best shows, but starting to get BORING. (*POSSIBLE SPOILER*)

Let me first say, that I am a HUGE fan of this show, but I think that it (unfortunately) is starting to go down hill. When I say that, i simply mean that The Simpsons has started to repeat itself badly.

It's always the same things that happens to/with characters. Let me give a couple of examples:

Homer: Still as bald, fat, stupid and caring as he was from the start. He still tries to strangle Bart, and still tries to make Lisa happy. He drinks as he have done all the time, he keeps on doing the most stupid things when he has spend a couple of hours at Moe's and so on.

Conclusion: Does the same (BORING) stuff all the time.



Marge: She is one the most boring characters in The Simpsons, and will never be anything else. And you can't even say that she keeps on doing the same BORING stuff, because she doesn't do A THING. She has always been sitting around at home, trying to be "the head of the family." Okay, through her life she have had a couple of jobs, but how many? 4 or 5? And for how long has she been able to keep those job? One episode.

Conclusion: She never really does anything, so I gues that there is no conclusion...

I could keep going on like this for a lot longer, but I am sure we all have other things to do, so I am just gonna say one more thing.

I admit that The Simpsons is one of the greatest shows ever made, but FOR THE LOVE OF GOD, STOP IT. It is starting to get so-so.... BORING. I mean, when the episode where Flanders dated a movie star were send, I just sad through the hole episode and HOPED that his relationship with her would evolve into something, but (of course) it didn't. And that was my opinion ;)

Resident Evil (2002)

I think that Resident Evil, is one of the most terrible attempts ever, to make a horror movie. One thing is that when you see this movie, you are supposed to be scared by the zombies and the Licker, but you don't. Because it is so clear that all of the monsters in this movie, is pure computer graphic, and some of the actors and actresses in RE, they just CAN'T ACT. But I think that this movie is one of the greatest attempts to make a movie based on a game. So it deserves 8/10.

One Night at McCool's (2001)

Did anyone actually LIKE One Night at McCool's at all?

It is just so very, very confusing with... well... ALL OF IT. When I saw it the first time I said to myself that everything in this movie was crap, except the joke with YMCA at the end.

Days of Our Lives (1965– )

very, very bad

I think that THIS is without doubt, THE most boring tv-serie ever made. One thing is that this one has been going for over 38 years (why in the world would people want to see this?). And another thing is that you can stop seeing it for 3-4 weeks, and you would STILL be able to know what has happened. Personally, I, for one, think that this should be taken away from tv.

Daredevil (2003)

Best Movie Ever

THIS time, Marvel has done it. This is defendly the best movie I have ever seen, based on a comic book (Spiderman for example was also very good). One of the greatest things in Daredevil, was his hearing sense, with all the computer graphic they used, it must have taken a lot of time just to make it. Okay, of course the movie had some bad things in it too too, but it would have taken up so little space here, that i am sure that you wouldn't even bother reading it ;-)

Gattaca (1997)

BORING

This is without doubt the worst movie I have ever seen. etc half an hour after I started seeing this movie, I was all ready starting to think: "Oh my god, when is this movie going to END?"

After all, I only give this movie 5 out of 10, and this grade is ONLY because of the great science-fiction in it.
