Reckless (2014)
Cam Gigandet ruins again
I used to like this guy for 7 years. But when I discovered his Facebook page, I found that he has lamentable communications skills, interpersonal skills, and despicable personality. I had two websites dedicated to him, but he never said a word. He even deleted the messages I praise him. It is his personality that kills his career. He has no brain nor talent. All of his movies are flops. He can only get supporting roles in low budget movies or straight to video movies. He ruins everything he is in. Good directors stay away from him. Listen to him mumbles and expresses incohesively in interviews. I know this show would be discarded after the first season because of this brain dead actor.
Trespass (2011)
Cam Gigandet is stunning in Trespass
Trespass is good. The last 60 minutes are much better since I can see more of Cam Gigandet. Cam's role is indeed the most interesting. His performance is the most captivating and touching. He plays that likable and psychotic bad boy so well. At the end, his being engulfed in flames is painfully disturbing. I almost want to jump into the flames and die with him. He is the one who saves Nicholas and Nicole's lives, but Nicholas ends up killing Cam ('s character). A better end would be: Nicholas not burning his own house and money, and let Cam take some of the money and run away.
It's against rational story telling, but I actually like to see Nicole run away with Cam. They are so cute together. I love to see more shirtless and sexy scenes of Cam, and more love scenes of Cam and Nicole.
Five Star Day (2010)
Cam is so adorable in Five Star Day
I have been dying to see Five Star Day ever since Cam signed on in Fall 2008. I finally could see it. On Cam's birthday, his horoscope predicts a 5 Star Day. But it turns out that everything that can go wrong does go wrong. He loses his job, his girl friend, his car, and his apartment.
So he embarks on a journey to interview 3 other people who were born at the same time, date, and place as him, to disprove astrology and to do a presentation for his college class. On his journey, he learns about friendship, life, and love. He gets drunk and high. He does good deeds to help people out, saves life and even finds love. It is a small yet so beautiful movie. Indeed the most beautiful movie I ever seen, just because I can see Cam all the time. Cam is so beautiful, charming, sweet, and adorable.
Burlesque (2010)
Burlesque exceeds my expectations by far
Although I read a fairly good amount of negative reviews, I still decided to go see Burlesque with my friends. To my surprise, I sat in the theater for almost 2 hours truly amazed by this movie. It is a cliché, a familiar theme that has been told before. Nowadays, a lot of movies are clichés. And there are quite a few remakes also. However the movie is truly entertaining, fun, interesting. The singing, dancing, dialogue, acting ... are all excellent. Christina and Cher deliver some great songs. The chemistry between Christina and Cam Gigandet is adorable. Cam Gigandet is by far my favorite actor of all time. I am so happy to see him have decent screen time, and to see him perform such a lovable strip scene. I could have paid $500 just to see his Famous Amos cookies scene. I give 10/10. I anxiously wait for the DVD to be released.
