Clown (2014)
Sad and Scary with underdeveloped concepts
I like the idea. It's interesting to have a demon possess a normal man, but I wish they did more with it. The transformation scene, for instance, could've been a lot more. Kills weren't too great, I hated everything to do with the bully character. I like the dads struggles, makes you feel for him. The Chuck E. Cheese stuff was kinda weird too.
Decent, I'll give it a 4.
Children of the Corn (1984)
Meh
To weird for my taste. A lot of running around too. Also, the final few scenes are just plain dumb.
4/10.
Iron Man (2008)
Good, for the 1st hour.
The whole plot of him getting kidnapped was really fun and cool. However, that plot is entirely done by the time the 1st hour is done. The rest of the movie is not fun. Very slow, boring, and just not enjoyable.
5/10 first hour carries.
A Quiet Place (2018)
Crazy cool concept
Definitely worth checking out. Such a cool concept. Such a thriller where not even you want to make a sound. And that scene at the beginning, man, heartbreaking.
8/10.
Captain Phillips (2013)
Best of Tom Hanks
Some of Toms best work. All actors were great, with some intense scenes too. Pirates stole the show. Not one scene where I wasnt on the edge of my seat. Also the scene with Hanks in the medical bay is genuinely fantastic.
Loved it. 9/10.
The Texas Chain Saw Massacre (1974)
Extremely Enjoyable, Loved every minute of it.
TCM is a iconic movie and pioneer of horror films, but honestly, I enjoyed the road trip side of the film more. The actors all bounced great off each other, and the seen with the hitchhiker is great overall. Leatherface is great too. Loved every minute of him, and man that dinner scene was great. Murders were nothing special, but for a low budget slasher from the 70s, I gotta give it a 8.
Overall: 8/10.
Terrifier (2016)
Terrifying Slasher with some Bad Cliches
First off, Art is terrifying. He is portrayed amazingly, and the actor does a fantastic job of mixing the clown and killer together. The rest of the actors are not great. Victoria is the only other one who really sticks out to me. She shows such good emotion throughout. The first 30 or so minutes also kind of suck. Very boring with bad acting. Also was annoyed on how many locked doors there were aswell as how many beatings Art took. Not a fan of him being supernatural.
Overall: 6/10
One of the scariest movies I've seen, but bad acting and cliches bring it down.
