The Heartbreak Kid (2007)
Not very funny
Ben Stiller is a good Actor and can play almost anything, The only problem is there is nothing likable about this character. Eddie is a self centered character with little to no chance for redemption. First he dumps a perfectly ok woman because "she sings to her favorite songs on their roadtrip", "wants to be intimate with him during their honeymoon" and happens to get a sun burn because of "being too stubborn" and not wearing sunscreen. If Ben Stiller was trying to portray a dirtbag he did a great job, I found the objectifying remarks by Eddie's father a bit unsettling (creepy old man vibes), also the constant lying by the character and the movie centered around him betraying his wife doesn't sit well. You feel bad for Lila's character. There weren't any funny scenes in the movie that made me laugh out loud , the best parts were the interactions between Eddie and Lila's brother who treated him correctly beat the shiz out of him a few times. It's a Rom Com that's neither romantic nor is it a comedy.
Ginny Weds Sunny (2020)
Light and fun
The movie is a lighthearted comedy and drama. It shows Ginni as a headstrong woman that is confused between her ex and sunny a shy desperate romantic.
It's a love story , with great comedy and the atmosphere is awesome. The cinematography and locations are stunning. I have it a 10 because I think Bollywood is on the decline and doesn't produce many good stories anymore it's repetitive and the songs are whack and most movies have a predictable ending. This may have had some similar elements to Hitch And a Salman Khan Bollywood film Partner mixed into a Punjabi vibe. They did a decent job and honestly I enjoyed watching it would recommend.
The Seven Deadly Sins: Prisoners of the Sky (2018)
Never reviewed a movie before but this had to be done
Best animated movie in a long time reminiscent of the good old times as a kid. I recommend due to great story line , awesome Animation, characters , fight scenes. You name it oh yes and the Music does it justice the atmosphere the movie creates is enveloping and there's no way you won't get goosebumps throughout certain parts.
The whole intro to the great Oshiro and Mael's sword just are an icing on top.
Loved it
