Clickbait (2021)
Don't Click on this
Really wanted to like this but the more I watched the more I felt it was a made for TV mini series. Poor acting, an overdose of drama and a plot that had a strainer full of holes. The final episode on the big reveal was laughable. As a dark comedy this was good but unfortunately it was not. Avoid clicking on Clickbait.
No Sudden Move (2021)
What a Mess
With a cast like this who wasn't excited to see this. Forty minutes into this film, I started losing interested. I felt as if the plot was being created as they shot the film. Very disappointed. Dull ending.
Hall Pass (2011)
Hilarious
Don't know why there are so many haters. Did people forget that this is a comedy? Loved this movie. I've seen it 3x and gets better everytime.
Your Honor (2020)
Great suspense but rushed/lazy and overly convenient ending
Really enjoyed series but it would have been stronger and more plausible without the Adam's romance's. The teacher/student story was a little off but then the romance with Baxter's daughter made it downrught preposterous. Additionally, the death of the mother was never fully explored. There could be conclusions drawn (the judge murdered her, etc) but that was never explained. That was another useless side story. I felt the ending was a bit lazy and overly convenient. It did male for some excellent binge watching.
I'm Your Woman (2020)
Great 70's nostalgia but movie fails at so many levels. Snoozer with no credibility
Nothing adds up in this movie. First 30 min, I was interested but then it just got preposterous. You could drive a truck through the holes in the story. The premise was good but then the movie goes off the rails and there's absolutely no resolve at the end. It felt as if the the last half of the movie was being made made up as it went along. The last 30 minutes was haphazardly thrown together to finally get some action which seemed out of place.
I Know This Much Is True (2020)
Great performances but at a price
Ruffalo and O'Donnell put on amazing performances but other than that this series is painful. Rapes, incest, car wrecks, ladder falls, infant deaths and even a monkey murder. Series never gets any brighter. The brightest part for me was when brother finally died, which allowed the story and the lives to finally move forward. Some redemption at the end but I found it painfully slow and morose.
The Vow (2020)
Former actresses and filmakers try and revive career with a made for reality TV documentary
The first 5 episodes were great but much of the last half could have been left on the editing floor. Too many self indulgent narcissists that quickly turn themselves into victims of a cult they voluntarily joined and reaped the benefits from. The 2nd half of the series is filled with painful and endless speakerphone discussions between ex-members, lawyers, family members, etc. I like the backstory of keith, the history of the organization, etc. But the present day footage of the ex-members and family members is exhausting.

The Flight Attendant (2020)
Crashed shortly after takeoff
I got sucked into this overly dramatic, non sensical plane crash of the Flight Attendant. I liked the first few episodes and then after the 3rd or 4th episodes it went into a rapid descent. Too many daddy issues, irrelevant side plots and eye rolling "really??" moments. It almost felt as if the first half of the series was scripted and the 2nd half was made up during production. It was just not very believable.
Unfit: The Psychology of Donald Trump (2020)
Scary
Didn't expect a comedy but wasn't expecting one of the scariest movies I've seen all year. Great documentary tary highlighting much of what is known about DT. Very insightful but unfortunately it most likely will never be seen by the cult members that need to see it the most.
Yellowstone (2018)
Mediocre at Best
Really wanted to like this but episode after episode became more like an afternoon soap opera or latest Lifetime series rather than a dramatic big budget streaming series. Let's start with Beth Dutton. She's not realistic at all and I cringe everytime she's in a scene. The only thing that would be realistic is her kicking the bucket in season 2.
Some other unrealistic parts that felt more like a dark comedy, the Fish and Wildlife officer being maimed on the fence post, the tourists stuck on a cliff, the drizzly being shot by what looked like a Red Rider BB gun, the affair with govenor, Dan Jenkins being kidnapped from downtown and hung from a tree. Just not plausible. I'll take Succession any day over this Lifetime series.
I will still try season 2 to see if it gets more plausible.
You (2018)
Season 1 great.. Season 2 Painfully annoying
Loved Season 1. Season 2 started with such high hope's of new characters, new city, new sub plot. It was only after a couple of episodes that I realized it was going to be completely predictable and I already had guessed which characters would make the sound proof room, which isn't very sound proof when the woman is talking on cell phone which is other side of glass. I liked Joe season 1, halfway through season 2, I cringe every time I hear the internal dialogue . I will bear with it to see it through but Season 3 will not be in the watchlist.
