A fun film but not what i was expecting. The adventure was good but the voice casting was pretty bad and the ADR of Robert Downey Junior was just shockingly bad with his entire dialogue replaced. Good SFX thats about it.

Billed as a 'violent horror' this film is anything but. Its trashy art house plot is poorly written and directed. Way beneath Toby Jones who makes a brilliant performance in what must have been hell to film. An official 6.2 out of ten is not deserved for this appalling crap

Its not.

Drone wars is a decent film in a decade of similar post apocalyptic alien robot films. Good plot, acting, and sfx, but there are some appalling edits.

B-movie with a great premise, good plot, but just ok writing and directing. The lack of low/zero gravity is jarring as is the overuse of technical jargon rather than clear information for the audience. Sfx are ok.

Game Night (I) (2018)

Great fun comedy thriller

A very silly comedy thriller that has some confusing plot points. Jason Bateman his usual great self and Rachel McAdams her usual gorgeous self.

One of the best scenes is the single camera fight scene. Brilliantly choreographed and filmed. Some good cinematography and entertainment.

Interesting but weirdly disjointed film supposedly starring Tom Holland and Robert Pattinson who you don't even realise are in it until well over halfway through. Parts are rushed and parts are so slow you want them to die so the film can end. It would have made a better TV series but its based on real events with no conclusion.

Useless SkyTV has channing tatum pictured as being in it too.

Excellent Sci-Fi starring Lexi Kolker as a girl with superpowers (outstanding acting). Slow start to the film and sometimes confusing but all starts to make sense halfway through. Good SFX and editing.

The cast do their best with the terrible contemporary rewriting of the classic tale. The directing isnt much better than the writing but at least the production value and music are decent.

A weird 70s Horror 'porn' starring Mia Goth. It comes across as a b-movie with the sfx and writing, and makes absolutely no sense to have Mia made up as an old woman in this. Enjoyable to a point. Definitely not one to watch again.

Great and gory psychological horror starring Luke Evans and Adelaide Clemens. Pretty much as the title says, no one lives. Good cinematography in the main, and SFX. Some gaps in the edit, and gratuitous nudity. Im all for sex and nudity if it's in keeping with the plot but the shower scene was pointless.

Crazy Bowie-esq film with #ellefanning and a cast of british comedy actors set in the 70s. Great TV cinematography and effects. Music and screaming. Could have been a cult film if a big studio had done it.

A very slow post apocalyptic film with a good premise but full of plot holes and bad direction. Acting and cinematography are good even though the main character is annoying as hell, and the film fails to go anywhere.

Interesting supernatural horror in english and yiddish. Sound effects are very good. A couple of pointless scenes with plot holes but overall a decent film. Its let down a little by the cinematography and visual effects.

One of those 'college' films where none of the actors are under 25. Reminds me of one of the Scream films without the gore. A bit slow but a decent plot.

Alicia Vikander stars in this rather lazily written remake. She a great actor but unsuited to the role imho. Much of the film wastes time that could have been spent getting the timing right for the 'rocket' chase which should have taken days not minutes, and more actual tomb scenes that weren't bordering on superhuman ability.

Not the best plot for a sequel with inexplicably annoying characters and bad cinematography for a 'found footage' film. The original emphasis on not showing any actual creature is also ignored. Good to pass the time but thats about it.

Very good biopic starring Christain Bale and Matt Damon. Enjoyable personal scenes as well as racing scenes leading up to the 66 race. Appears to have been made honourably to all those involved.
