Father of Flies (2021)
What did I just watch?!?
Nothing about this movie made sense. Why was she wearing that mask, is my first question?! If i were the kids, that alone would make me afraid of her. I want to know what that thing is for. Next... Who was the demon?!? The mom? The creepy lady neighbor? The one wearing the mask? I have not a clue who!! I loved the suspense...but it lead up to absolutely nothing. At least nothing that made sense to me. The end was just stupid. Was the boy alive or was he dead? Was mom alive or dead? So was it really only dad, the sister and dad's new woman that was alive and the rest were dead demons? I am left with no answers and complete confusion as to what this movie was about.
A Thread of Deceit: The Hart Family Tragedy (2020)
One sided..and it was the wrong side
This was a piece about how wonderful these women were. It was not the story I had read about this tragedy. There was definitely something very disturbed with these two women. I don't believe they killed the children to spare the children...I believe they didn't want any witnesses to what happened in that house. They wanted to make it look like it was all for the love of the children that they did everything. They were selfish, sick, abusers and killers.
The Place Beyond the Pines (2012)
Excellent movie but the ending sucked
I loved this movie. All great actors. Great story line....but I thought the end sucked. The characters were perfect. I would've given it a 10 star rating if the end would've been more realistic and more climactic. The end was just a flat letdown.
Troppo (2022)
Binged this and loved it!
I breezed through this because it was so thoroughly enjoyable. Suspenseful and thought provoking. Excellent actors. I really hope they do another season of this! They're a great team.
Drifter: Henry Lee Lucas (2009)
Crappy remake
Antonio Sabato was so bad in this movie. I used to think he was a good actor. I read the book about Henry Lee Lucas in the 80s. As always, the book is always better than the movie. However, the movie from the 80s "Henry Lee Lucas, Portrait of a Serial Killer" was done real well. This one couldn't hold my interest. It was done so badly.
The Towel Man (2021)
Waste of time....
Sorry a$$ excuse for a movie, for real. No one could act to save their lives. The storyline was stupid af. What a waste of time. Anyone giving this $hitshow more than 1 star is doing it out sheer pity or they know the clowns who put this together.
Out of Mind, Out of Sight (2014)
Very good documentary
I thought it was done well. The four that they picked to interview were good choices. Being an empath, I felt a lot of pain for them and their situation. I felt that the male staff were much more compassionate than some of the women nurses. The ones who seemed to laugh and joke about all this i felt to be pathetic. The one nurse, especially so, who seemed to think it was all a big joke and came across as though she was superior and she was very condescending. That aside, I feel like it is definitely worth watching.
27: Gone Too Soon (2018)
Inaccurate and boring
A waste of time. You can get more information...accurate information by an internet search than by what this "documentary" gives you. I was terribly disappointed and very bored. I learned nothing that I didn't already know about each of these musicians and their lives and deaths. If you want to know more, learn more about the "27 club" there are much better documentaries out there. This one is garbage.
The Collingswood Story (2002)
Boring with no real plot
I don't know why I wasted my time watching 3/4 of this movie. I guess I wanted to give it a chance. It was extremely boring, the actors were terrible, the storyline made no sense.
The Stay (2021)
Waste of time
Terrible acting. Very unrealistic. The story line was just so off. Even the effects were unrealistic. I just feel like I wasted an hour and a half of my life. There are a lot of low budget movies out there that are really good, but this wasn't one of them. The only believable actor was Noja Okoro.
The Secret of Crickley Hall (2012)
Creepy and I loved it.
This kept me enthralled throughout. My only disappointment was Tom Ellis. I loved him in Lucifer, however felt he did a terrible job in this. He was awful at portraying sorrow for the loss or real empathy for what his wife was going through. Very disappointing. The rest of the cast were wonderful.
