Servant (2019)
Terrible and Awkward...
Just like the directors acting. Anytime he decided that we needed to see him on screen it turned out awful, forced lines and awkward pauses, which is what the entire first episode was. Hard to watch, and annoying. Wish he would just quit already.
The Witcher (2019)
Minus 5 stars for "inclusivity"
Great show. Cavill made an excellent Geralt. Loved the books, read all 7, twice. Played The Wild Hunt at least 300 hours, actually on my 3rd NG+ playthrough now. The story is that good. The cut scenes in that game are Oscar worthy....
Anyways, I have an issue with the constant diversity BS rammed down our throats on a day to day basis from the left. Cant you just let a story be what it is?
It originates from a Slavic culture, and the characters were white. No, in order to please the whining masses you had to make Fringilla black, make up black elves (they dont exist), and change a perfectly good story to appease who... the people who cry the loudest?
Look, if cultural appropriation works both ways then whites can accuse them of the same, I mean I hear about that complaint all the time... why isn't it the same? Because these days it isn't racist at all to take things away from anyone who isn't of color.
Now I am racist, right? Wrong. I consider Denzel Washington one of the greatest actors of all time, and I absolutely love every movie he was ever in. Wil Smith - awful singer, but I am Legend is at the top of my list of apocalypse movies. I remember the first Black Superhero movie even if about 99% of the of today conveniently dismiss it and I loved it, bad CGI and all... Spawn. You see, it isn't about me (us, cause most of the true fans of this story feel the same) not liking actors of different ethnicities or not wanting to see them, its about leaving a story as it is and catering to the uselesscrybabies of society by changing it.
And now, to really screw up your pre-planned hateful thoughts on this review, here is something to further ruin your narrative - I am not white.
Will be genuinely surprised if this is posted - I mean come on, we are talking about the same entity that blocked bad reviews from critics of Black Panther, because of the same mindset I am complaining about above.
Polar (2019)
I love Mads Mikkelson...
But the terrible acting by the rest of the cast bring him way down. I had to turn it off, the fat evil boss, the Asian chick with no eyebrows, the creepy ginger dude, all crap actors, and the and the other no names made what should have been an enjoyable movie to watch one of my favorite actors in unbearable.
Guess he was bored to have agreed to this, and what parts he played he played well of course, but this movie was just too bad to suffer through.
The Dead Don't Die (2019)
Garbage
Boring AF. On top of that, first 15 minutes you are reminded of the liberal ideology that puts out this trash constantly these days with subtle hints of how elitist hollywood scumbags view rural America... the keep America white again hat and the radio broadcaster "climate change denier" spouting off conspiracy theories. Get bent, leftists. Trump is your president and global warming is a hoax. Get over it. I am glad I watched the first 30 minutes I could stand for free. In fact, the Pirate Bay should give me a refund for putting up with your nonsense.
The Terror (2018)
Season 1 great, season 2 SJW BS
Japs got stuck in internment camps during a world war that threatened our existence, 60 years ago. Lets focus on that to bash America some more, by left leaning socialist who hate on capitalism while typing out their frustrations on the interwebs with their iphones. No thanks, hollywierdoes, you dont get to tell me how to think.
The first season was great though. Dont know what happened.
As far as acting, it was terrible and unwatchable, but the subject matter was the real downer.
Mr. Mercedes: Madness (2019)
Steven King's EGO is clearly inflated in this one
It is painfully obvious that all the characters in this particular episode going on and on about the dead author is King's idea of what the world will be like when he kicks the bucket.
Look, I probably had read all his books he had out at the time by the late 80s, and a few here and there since, then, so yeah he's not too bad, but jesus h baldheaded christ, the morgue scene was it for me... c'mon man, this whole series has been riveting and I have watched it from start to finish in the last 4 days, and this episode clearly shows some sort of infatuation with how you think the world probably views you. Self aggrandizing narcissism it all I saw in the writing.
Wasn't genuine like I remember, or even like the first two seasons. Maybe the editors put that BS in, but the way he's been acting lately leads me to believe it's sposed to be that way.
Hope the next episode goes back to the pretty damn good show I have been watchin.
