The Last of Us: Please Hold to My Hand (2023)
The Last but not the least of us (Pun Intended)
This episode was truly remarkable. We had the opportunity to delve deeper into Joel and Ellie's characters as they continue to grow and develop throughout the series. Their bond becomes even stronger and more evident, as we see Joel open up and sees Ellie as more than just cargo. The video game references, particularly the magazine scene, added an exciting and nostalgic touch to the episode.
New characters, such as Kathleen, played by the talented Melanie Lynskey added a fresh dynamic to the story and as intended by Neil Druckman, gave the hunters a "face".
The cinematography in this episode deserve special mention. The visuals were stunning, especially the road block scene looked like a screenshot from the game.
Overall, this episode was one of the best yet, with strong character development, exciting new introductions, and stunning visuals and sound design. I cannot wait to see Henry and Sam's arc unfold in the next episode.

Breaks the Video Game Adaptation Curse
This is how every video game adaptations should be done. There were some variations to the story and as promised by the creators, many big variations are coming in the future episodes (Especially Episode 3 which some critics are saying is one of the greatest episodes of television history). I had mid expectations but episode 1 blew my mind. It is a perfect pilot and I am really excited to see whats coming next. We will see more fleshed out characters particularly stretching out Bill's storyline and a major story change from video games with a few jaw dropping twists. I think this show works because Neil Druckmann is heavily involved in the project and every decision made to the script is closely supervised by him. It shows that this is not another cash grab but they really do care about the original story.
Sacred Games: Radcliffe (2019)
AMAZING!
Man, season 2 could not have been any better. I think a lot of people expected this season to be just like season 1 and hence they were disappointed. Season 1 had jokes, funny characters , Nudity, earthly mumbai life and a lot of Bunty. S1 kinda gave off that gangs of wasseypur vibe that we all love. But for S2, They took a different approach by choreographing the story in a very serious and poetic fashion (Well they had too because its the endgame). It totally worked IMO. The way story unfoldes in a poetic and dark manner was amazing. If you pay close attention to all the hints Guruji makes, you will understand that he actually made a lot of sense. Kinda like Thanos from the avengers. It is such a shame that the majority of the viewers could not get past the dark comedy of season 1 and appreciate the intellence behind season 2.
Life Is Strange 2 (2018)
Please don't hate on it just because it doesn't have max or chloe
People have to understand that the devs were done with Max and Chloe's story. It was a complete story with a satisfying end. They even gave a comic book series to calm the fans bashing Lis2 for not having M&C. This game is different and equally well written as its predecessor. Even better IMO. Also, the longer wait between episodes is due to the longer gameplay, improvered graphics , different locations with different episodes , demanding budget etc. I was immediately connected to the Diaz brothers and their journey for survival. I like seeing new characters and their interaction with Daniel. It is a wonderful game and I look forward to further episodes. I just request everyone to play the game first instead if hating on it automatically. I am sure you will change your mind :)
Game of Thrones: The Iron Throne (2019)
GAME OF DISAPPOINTMENT
This could have been an okay finale if they invested sometime in Dany's character development. I think I was the only one who knew Bran would become the new king. But it was so poorly executed. Bran the broken? Really? Also, I was expecting some twist with Bran being connected to some magical sh** and him being on the throne would make sense. I really thought he had done something to prevent the night king from killing Arya or something when he warged into Crows? I guess.
But no, It was as simple as that. The only thing I liked about this episode was the scene with dead Dany and Drogon. That scene was brilliantly done IMO. But the things that followed up to that point made no sense. Jon used to be such a stubborn guy who always put innocent lives before him. Why would he need Tyrion's pep talk to understand Dany's intentions. After seeing that She killed all those innocent people, That should have been all the reason he needed to become the queen slayer. They totally ruined what Jon stood for. I hope David and Dan accept their mistakes and improve instead of defending it over and over again.
Game of Thrones: The Bells (2019)
Never been so disappointed
Honestly, I watched this episode with an open mind. I think this could have been a really good episode if they had invested some character development into the mad queen arc. It really felt forced. Her entire arc was based upon mercy and breaking the chains. Its really hard to accept her turning into the mad queen so quick. I understand she lost so much so quick but it still dont make sense for her to go bat sh** crazy like that. She always wanted to rule the seven kingdoms and she achieved exactly that when the bells rang. Then why destroy the entire kings landing? Killing all the innocent people for what? Strike fear? I really think she already established fear by flaunting her giant dragon and killing all the iron fleet. I would have been somewhat fine with it if the bells didnt rang and dany lost her patience. But still over such less character developement , her killing all those innocents doesn't make any sense to me. Only if they had invested sometime to build her into the mad queen with clear intent. Such a shame they preffered shock value over character development.
Game of Thrones: The Last of the Starks (2019)
GOODBYE GHOST!!!
The south is not a place for a Direwolf. He will not survive the south right?
Yes, But placing him at Vanguard in the fight for Winterfell was definitely good idea.
Game of Thrones: A Knight of the Seven Kingdoms (2019)
Big step up from the previous episode
I believe many of us didn't like the previous episode due to poor writing and not because it lacked action. Misplaced dialogues and a lot of cliches in the previous episode. But I really liked this one. While it did have some cliches and cringe moments, It was a pretty good episode overall. I wasn't sure about the Arya and Gendry love scene. I was afraid the writers would mess up the scene in a stupid Hollywood style. But they really handled it well and it didn't feel forced. I really look forward to the next episode. It has been directed by Miguel Sapochnik after all. The most important episode in the history of GOT is in good hands. It will be one hell of an episode.
