10,000 BC (2008)
Really 10,000 BC???
This movie is another unintentional comedy. It must be kind of hard to find a writer, a producer and a director that share the same extraordinary level of ignorance, to display textile clothing, steel shields, pyramids, modern domestic horses (well bridled), domestic mammoths, complex languages, pants, industrial cranes for construction, adobe huts (Arizona style), modern archery, indoor lanterns, and more, on the year 10,000 BC., it almost felt like The Flintstones. Anyway, unless you want to laugh at stupidity I wouldn't recommend this flick.
Aside from that, there's not much else to see in it. If you don't let all that incoherency annoy you, maybe you can get entertained by this movie, because even though the story is not so good, it's not that boring either, I was laughing all along, but I know it was not intended that way.
The Forgotten (2004)
the forgotten arguments, unintentional comedy (SPOILERS)
The movie's title and its plot summary seemed really intriguing, but somehow, it went down within the first 30 minutes. I wouldn't put any spoiler to any other movie, but on this one, the more you know before going to the theater, the better chance you have to decide no to go and watch this movie. Telly Parada (Moore) is a grieving mother obsessed with the loss of her 9 year old son, and everybody around her seemed familiar with her grieving process, but all of a sudden, it looks like her memory starts to play tricks on her, as she thinks she parked her car on one sidewalk, and it was somewhere else, or when she believed she was drinking coffee at her psychiatrist's appointment and she wasn't. Then the story gets interesting when all that confusion appears to be related to bigger issues, like the possibility that she never had a son, and she was recovering from a miscarriage, and how the pictures, records and people around her, seemed to be unaware of that son. But then, it gets mixed with extraterrestrial espionage, about an experiment related to the bond between mother and son, and it just became an unintentional comedy (everybody was laughing out loud at the supposedly scary moments). It gets completely ridiculous. It could have been a great movie, but was just a waste of time. If you decide to go, try and have a sense of humour about it.
The Fall (1999)
what a waste of time
Even though at the time I thought I had nothing else to do besides watching it, and that it was on TV, I regret wasting my time on this movie. This flick is definitely one of the most incoherent, twisted, worthless pieces of work I've ever seen. The story involves so many contradictions, it becomes an unintentional comedy (and that only if you have a big sense of humor). The picture, sound, and other technical work is OK, but if you're just looking to see good technical work, then get the National Geographic or the Discovery Channel. The sex scene seems to be made just to accomplish a requirement (because it was too soft, so unnecessary and unjustifiable to the story). It's like mixing elements without any sense of coherence, just to get a movie that has it all. And yep, it has action (poor performance there), it has mystery, suspense, sex (too graphic and too soft at the same time), nudity, violence, BUT NO LOGICAL ADHESION BETWEEN THEM. Big waste of time to say the less.
