Dancer in the Dark (2000)

I stand corrected

I watched Breaking the waves and cried my eyes out. But after this movie, I gave myself a headache from crying so much. I was touched like never before. I like to lose myself in movies most of the time, but I couldn't help it with this one. It took me, and would not let go.

The Crow (1994)

And I had such high hopes.

To an alienated teen in high school in 1991, The Crow was something to escape to. A man that gets shot in the head three times, and watches his girlfriend get killed in front of him. The crow appears to Eric to take him to heaven. But his love for her keeps him alive, or on this plane of reality. His wounds do not heal, and he is not living. Hollywood really messed this one up. What a complete let down. And the Crow wasn't Goth, but it marketing did sell it to that social group. Sad.

Everybody in this movie is a cold, manipulative lowlife, and that is why I loved every minute of this movie. People....real people don't change. And this movies characters longbaugh and parker (named after the real names of butch cassady and the sundance kid) don't go through some mind altering transformation. They are true to the gritty end.

this movie will make you cry like a relative of yours has just passed on. i would love to make a film that touches people like this touched me. I went to all of my freinds after I saw this movie (the next day) with my eyes still red and puffy and made them all watch it. One at a time or one by one.

I have NEVER cried after watching a film like when I cried after watching this one.

two grifters, a small framed succubus with the looks of a librarian, and a guy who could pass for a patrick brother.... watch them tour the breadbasket scamming people who look as though they stepped out of a gus van sant movie..... and the out come of these two artists of the grift you ask? watch and see.....

The Gladiator (1986 TV Movie)

I was in sixth grade when i first saw this movie, it had everything i was looking for in an "automobile chase" movie, at that time that was what i was into, roadwarrior etc.....

It had the drunk on revenge main character....who soups up his truck to take down drunk drivers after his brother gets hurt by one. And not to mention the standoff automobile fight scene in the end that would make vaughn from crash, pass out in ecstasy.

did i mention that i loved able ferra movies before i even knew who he was?!

If you ever get a chance to see this vehicle vigilance movie. then do so. Other wise you will miss his really cool harpoon gun.

Dr. Caligari (1989)

An arterial, black comedy,chock full of grit, very addictive babble, and horribly cool set designs, not to mention the dialog, each word is a gem within itself

The movie starts off by removing the top of your skull, the pouring liquid scotch guard onto your pituitary gland. You feel as if the t.v. is leaking some sort of radiation of some sort, you run and find a radon detector, but it registers nothing, your borrow your neighbors radiation detector, still nothing.......

It is the tape people, do not fight it, just sit back, laugh and watch it 6 times in a row.

But remember to put the top of your skull back on before you go to bed (things could get messy if not)
