I watched out of curiosity to see how they did compared to the original (Very Good) but I felt like Japan really 'pulled a China' with this even though it was licensed. They had an opportunity to make it their own and create new plot and content, but they didn't, really. Therefore, the story tends to be incongruous at points.

Very poor

Japanese talks too much, acts too slowly to be suited for such genre. They drove at leisure speed even in a car chase, and never failed to put on the safety belt before "speeding" off, both the victims and villains. There's just too much mundane details in 24 hours. The villains acted stupid too, only appeared sophisticated in the first few scenes. Where's the woman who blew up the plane and landed precisely where she wanted at night? Laughable.
