Best Movie of Our Time!

The bee team please be in an acid trip when watching maybe in some way you'll maybe be able to watch this atrocity. The bee team has family heart and bees that don't blink for a whole hour worth the money for sure.

Must-See? More like Must-Avoid!

This movie is just like Bee Movie, but it is much much worse. Zip and Zap were some of the most annoying characters I have ever seen on a movie screen. The animation is nightmare fuel, the colors are a mess. This movie was boring. Just don't waste your time watching it.

Why are there good reviews on this movie! Are the reviewers that stupid?

Laughable failure. Nothing Happen-ZZZ. Ugly Characters. ZZZ-terrible

Warning: Spoilers
Zip and Zap are young bee forms, I say bee forms because they scantly resemble bees, taking generous inspiration from a minon. Six people worked on the character designs and IT SHOWS. Any way so like the film opens wirh Zip and Zap getting bullied by two bees with hard hats ( the only way to distinguish the bee characters is by their accessories). We learn that Zip and Zap are freshly grown bees having just developed past their larva stage. This means that all the other pees think they're pretty much useless. Next thing that happens is the Zip and Zap have a chance to prove that they are more than larva when the bee queen lets everyone in the hive know that someone stole their honey. It's important to note that while the queen mentions their being 50,000 bees we only get to see about 7 in the entire film. I was waiting to see inside the hives (like in Bee movie) but its pretty apparent that these massive bees would never fit into the hive. Any way so are too bee-tagonists are like "hey queen Elanor, we're smart and fast enough to figure out who stole the honey" and Elanor is like "no". And so the bees are like "whatever we'll do what I want". WHat happens next is the longest and most anti-climactic wild bee chase ever. We meet character after atrocious nightmare fuel hastily designed character (the horse Mr. Hay Neigh has been keeping me up for WEEKS) and each character contributes essentially nothing to the plot. We do learn that Zip and Zap are complete Neanderthals because they don't know what a dog, frog, or rabbit is. They interact with more computer generated monsters than I could be paid to remember and then they get to a stick man named Sonny who can talk to bees. Sonny just apologizes and then says he'll put all the honey back. HOW SONNY? HOW ARE YOU GOING TO INSERT THE HONEY INTO THE BEE HIVE? So the day is saved and the bees celebrate because they aren't going to die after all. But the celebration is just the bees talking outside the hive and flying. Queen elanor literally has no class and this bee doesn't show an ounce of gratitude for Zip and Zap who saved her entire colony from certain death - beyond a a very simple speech.

The reason why I've been so generous with this movie is because of the unintentional comedic tendency that comes from taking such a massive poo and calling it a film. When studios excrete a movie with such rapidity the result is something so ugly and inconsistent that you can't help but laugh. The character designs are the most evident. However the voice acting the bee dialect created in the film are especially worth condemning laughter. The bees in this movie will add a ZZZ to almost every word, in places where it doesn't make any sense to do so. For example, they added a ZZZ in front of "puzzle" instead of emphasizing the Z's already in puzzle.

The film does have a very subliminal note about the role humans play in deconstructing the environment. There are notes about how pesticides drove all the bees away - which is nice. Maybe somone will watch this movie and become an entomologist, or a park ranger - sheesh I don't I'm trying to be nice. But even with this morale tossed in there, the human character Sonny doesn't realize the greater stakes of his and other human actions. He doesn't fill in the lake that was drained. He doesn't write to his congress man - the message is there but its week.

Any way so I'd recommend this movie if you want to laugh at it (the failures of the films, there are no jokes in the entire plot) and you have a good stash of recreational drugs to help you get through it.

Nightmare Fuel for the Nightmare Bus driven into Nightmare Canyon
kortedillon23 November 2018
There are some animated movies made by people that you just can't believe exists in a day and age like today's. Yet throughout the nineties and early two-thousands, we saw the likes of a Titanic animated movie, numerous direct to video sequels, and so much worse.

Yet the Bee Team defies all expectations.

Each bee is exactly the same and when not speaking, they blink stupidly with their mouths agape, the cold emptiness thinly veiled by a glossy shine on the surface of their eyeballs.

Not to mention that bees are not the only monstrosities in this film: horses and dogs and mice, all accompanied by the most overdone voice acting I have ever heard in my life.

The bees buzz randomly, as the horse whinnies randomly, and the dog barks randomly, all in between random unrelated words in a single sentence.

This quickly becomes a horror movie, my friends. After the initial laughing fits cease (due from the shock and disbelief of existence), the movie becomes dull and incredibly horrifically hideous. The bees don't stop staring into a space between spaces.

This movie is flabbergasting. I can't claim that I've consumed hallucinogenic substances, but I'm sure these monstrosities will haunt me for the rest of my life, all backed by a soundtrack that they couldn't have spent more than a day on I can only classify as "generic banjo."

All in all, a fun watch. 8/10. Would recommend.

A groundbreaking sucess

Warning: Spoilers
Bee Team, is, in short, an amazing, incredible, movie. It is one of the greatest animated movies I have ever seen, and among the top of Evan Tramel movies. It has a very emotional story about 2 young bees overcoming impossible odds. I will not spoil the very ending, but their is an unexpected plot twist coupled with an amazing important message about humanity.

The Movie also fits in very well with the established lore of Evan Tramel Movies, taking place after the Earth, bombarded by Squeak's attacks on reality, as seen in Space Guardians (2017), and all the remaining uncorrupted Animals have left Earth to escape the ruined planet (Star Paws (2016)). It also references the existence of super powered farm animals as seen in Down on the Farm (2017). The characters in it have many connections to the other Wownow Masterpieces.

Overall, this movie is incredible, and I highly recommend it to any connoisseurs of animation or movies in general

What a fantastic movie

This movie is an absolute masterpiece. Zip and Zap were some of the most well written characters I've ever seen in my entire life. The adventure they go on is absolutely beautiful and heart touching. My eyeballs were dry at the end of the movie because of the final act which was absolutely amazingly well done. All the other acts of the movie to lead to the final act couldn't have been better. The queen bee played an amazing roll as well because her character developed so well to Zip and Zap. So much ups and downs to get the honey back. All I can say is this movie is amazing and recommend it 100%

Amazing movie
magso31 December 2021
MUST SEE THIS MOVIE. Lead characters Zip & Zap carry the show as they search the find the evil honey stealer. Wow. I got this as a present for my boyfriend and we loved every minute. It was amazing. The voice acting is awesome. The graphics are amazing. Pay attention to the wings flapping on the bees because that's the best animation of the whole film. My favorite character was the pig! The pig was a great voice actor. The end of the movie was thrilling. After a whole movie of just bees, a pig, a cow , a horse and more- we have a human! The graphics on the human are close to real making you feel as if you are watching a real man on the screen. Amazing overall. Must watch!

So bad it's... bad.
shinynewspoon30 July 2022
There's very little substance to this movie. The characters take forever to get through their lines, and the animation is not exactly pleasing to the eye. I did, however, have a great time watching it and laughing at it with my family.

Wouldn't recommend unless you have an hour to burn with friends.
