This movie stands out from most Mexican movies.
The film is well made, it has a good production design, good photography, very good acting, Ilse Salas doing a good job as always, very good music, it is very well directed, has an excellent hair and makeup job, there is an attractive design costume, good character development and the script is compelling and well developed. The only thing that doesn't convince me is the way it tells the story, making the film a bit confusing and sometimes slow.
The film manages to portray how they were seen in the past, and even today, social classes in Mexico and how appearances were everything in those times, even more important than being happy, the film manages to be a high quality film and very remarkable of the majority of Mexican films with a good script and good execution.
