When Eminem dropped "Stan" in 2000 -- the third single off his Diamond-certified Marshall Mathers LP -- no one had any idea that the song would go on to change the world of music and pop culture forever.
The intense track -- a first-person account of an obsessed fan of the rapper's, who emulates his looks and lifestyle in an attempt to impress Em from afar -- plays out in increasingly horrifying installments, as "Stan's" fan letters document his decent into a maniacal infatuation. (Nowadays, the term "stan" has become a part of the cultural lexicon, used to denote a passionate or dedicated fan -- though in much more lighthearted context. The new definition was recently added to the Oxford English Dictionary.)

ABC’s Bachelor in Paradise on Tuesday night — where it apparently featured some sort of wedding…? — drew 3.9 million total viewers and a 1.1 demo rating, dropping 23 and 31 percent from Monday’s season opener.
Year over year, however, the reality series was steady.
Enjoying an actual lead-in for once (imagine!), the freshman drama Somewhere Between (1.7 mil/0.4) rose 18 and 33 percent.

The 34-year-old recently posted three overwhelmingly adorable photos on Instagram of her husband, Nashville Predators captain Mike Fisher, and son Isaiah Fisher getting ready for bed, but it was not your average bedtime routine. “World of Dance,” take a bow. On Tuesday, the Jennifer Lopez-led NBC dancing competition scored its top Nielsen rating since the series premiered in May. Another big “America’s Got Talent” lead-in sure didn’t hurt any. No one was close to NBC last night, when there was only one other original — ABC’s “Somewhere Between” — across the English-language broadcast networks. That show was a non-factor anyway. How slow was CBS and the gang last night? Telemundo finished in second place in the main demo, and by a good two-tenths of a Nielsen ratings point. CBS did end up as runner-up among.

In a TVLine poll, 70 percent of readers disagreed with the outcome.

Winning the popular vote but losing the presidency in the Electoral College has hardly seen Hillary Clinton wallowing in sweats. Sure, she went through a phase of walking the backwoods of upstate New York and indulging the selfie requests of fellow hikers. And she’s admitted to finding comfort in play time with her grandchildren and a glass (or two) of chardonnay. But the former first lady, senator and secretary of state is clearly moving on. She’s written a new memoir coming out in the fall, playfully promoted her namesake pumps designed by Katy Perry, and now is giving...

Another Tuesday, another huge NBC win. No other English-language network even tried to challenge “America’s Got Talent” with their own original programming, which was probably a good idea.
