- Olaf: Good evening, madam. I'm Olaf...
- Candy Cane Kid: Hey, Olaf!
- Olaf: Let me finish?... And I like warm hugs.
- Kristoff: [after presenting the statue of Flemmingrad the Fungus Troll] Now you lick his forehead for good luck.
- [He licks the statue, gets moss all over his face]
- Kristoff: Who's next?
- Anna: You're up, Elsa.
- [Elsa almost throws up]
- Kristoff: Tastes just like lichen.
- Olaf: [Whispers to Anna] You're a princess, you don't have to settle.
- Olaf: [after the sled falls off a cliff] Okay, Sven, not gonna sugarcoat it, this is a bit of a setback.
- [Closing lines]
- Olaf: [after the hawk drops the fruit cake on him] The fruit cake! A Christmas miracle!
- Olaf: [after swallowing a piping hot fruitcake that falls through his body; slightly dismayed] Aw, that went right through me.
- [Olaf is relaxing in Oaken's sauna, where there is a Christmas party going on]
- Oaken: Enjoying me family's Christmas festivity, Christmas Snowman?
- Olaf: [taking off his coals; relaxed] Ah... Yeah! So nice to take your coals off once in a while, ya know what I mean?
- [he gradually starts to melt from the steam and heat]
- Olaf: All my troubles are just melting away!
- Anna: Olaf, where are you?
- Olaf: [buried under a heap of snow] He's... not here.
- Anna: [Elsa and Anna gasp and let sighs of relief that they found Olaf. They knelt down beside the heap of snow Olaf is buried under] Hmm... I wonder where he went.
- Olaf: He probably went out to look for traditions for Anna and Elsa.
- Elsa: Oh, And did he find any?
- Olaf: He did. But they caught fire, and fell off a cliff, and then caught fire again.
- [Sven grabs his carrot nose with his teeth and pulls him out]
- Olaf: And then the hawk took them.
- [First Lines]
- Olaf: [startling the Arendelle Majordomo while he is decorating the tree] Surprise!
- Arendelle Royal Majordomo: Not yet, Olaf.
- Olaf: [startling three maids who are carrying dinner plates by popping out of a suit of armor] Surprise!
- Arendelle Maids: Not yet, Olaf.
- Olaf: [surprising the manservent as he is placing a present that looks like Olaf] Surprise!
- Arendelle Manservent: [tumbles on the pile of presents] Whoa! Oh... Not yet, Olaf.
- Anna: [Anna enters the dining room and is about to take a piece of cake with her fingers] Whoa! Hello.
- Olaf: [popping out of the cake, startling Anna] Surprise!
- Anna: [smiling] Oh, Olaf! Not yet!
- Candy Cane Woman: We make candy canes together.
- [She hands Olaf a candy cane]
- Olaf: [intrigued] Oooh!
- [He takes off his carrot nose and puts the candy cane in it's place. His eyes whirl with candy cane colors as he giggles]
- Olaf: Sugar rush!
- Candy Cane Kid: [putting the candy cane into Olaf's mouth] You're supposed to eat it.
- Olaf: [shocked] Eat my new nose? Why would I want to do that?
- Candy Cane Kid: Because it's that time of year!
- [Candy Cane Kid exits. Olaf puts his carrot nose back on]
- Olaf: [musing] Hmm. Because it's that... time of year.
- [Olaf gets an epiphany and gasps in excitement]
- Olaf: I'm sorry. You still don't have a tradition.
- Anna: But we do, Olaf. Look.
- [Anna opens a box, revealing artwork of Olaf]
- Olaf: [gasps; amazed] Wait! Is that...
- Elsa: [as a flashback of a young Anna and Elsa making the snowman that was Olaf] Anna made these... Years ago. When we first made you. You were the one who brought us together, and kept us connected while we were apart.
- Anna: [Flashback shows Young Anna slipping artwork of Olaf under Elsa's door] Every Christmas, I made Elsa a gift.
- Elsa: All those long years alone...
- [Flashback shows an older Elsa picking up a corn-husk doll of Olaf that Anna had made]
- Elsa: We had you to remind us of our childhood.
- Anna: [Scene shows Anna and Elsa standing on opposite sides of the door, smiling warmly] ... Of how much we still loved each other.
- Elsa: It's you, Olaf. You are our tradition.
- Olaf: [amazed] Me?
- Anna: [smiles] Surprise!
- Olaf: [deeply moved; as Anna and Elsa hug him] Oh!
- Olaf: [as he is being chased by wolves, while holding onto a holiday fruitcake; desperate] Please! I know your hungry, but I need to have at least one tradition for my best friends. The fate of the world depends on it!
- [after losing all of the collected traditions to a fire, being chased by wolves and a fruitcake to a hawk, a battered Olaf falls into despair as sorrowful music plays]
- Olaf: Well, I guess hawks need traditions too.
- [sadly sighs]
- Olaf: [singing] Happy, merry, Holly, Jolly... / Times of Good Cheer.
- [sniffles]
- Olaf: [voice breaking slightly as he sings] I never meant to let them down/ at that time of year.
- Olaf: [speaking] Maybe I should just stay lost.
