Bremner's poll
Prismark1014 May 2015
Rory Bremner returns to cast a wry eye at the 2015 UK election. I guess even he was expecting a hung Parliament.

Only recorded 48 hours before transmission, I know because I was offered tickets to attend the recording its a mixture of his stand up commentary, mimicry and humorous with caustic observations on the election such as the Tories winning a majority with the UKIP and Greens combined getting the same share as the Tories but they only got one seat each. I did enjoy Bremner getting his dig at Cameron for sacrificing in effect Scotland to get in again as PM.

There are some pre recorded excerpts inserted. The stand out being the meeting between permanent civil servants played by Fay Ripley, Tim Piggot Smith and John Bird.

Its a little bit inconsistent and weak because it had to be quickly knocked out. The final skit based on the song by The Proclaimers of the loss of some MPs was enjoyable mainly because so many MPs from Scotland lost their seats to the SNP.
