Out of Darkness
There was something quite charming about this episode. It is sort of a "mother/daughter" arc where we see the relationship blossom between Hera and Sabine. There are a lot of core questions being asked here and all of them serve the characters. Sabine is something who is having a hard time trusting the other members, especially Hera and Kanan, because they don't always tell her about their missions. We learn that she was once enrolled in the Imperial Academy, so it makes sense that she would have a hard time trusting certain individuals. Hera also came to play in this episode, and I liked the role that she took on. There were some solid action sequences, but once again I have to mention that this works better as an ensemble. The limited presence of the other members was lacking and I would have loved to see more of them go on the mission. However, that wouldn't have served the story, so on that level I completely understand why they weren't there. It was a better episode than the last one, which was a disappointment, and it has gotten me more invested in certain characters.
