- TriviaThe real Walter O'Brien can be seen in the LAX Control tower. The controller behind "Randy" during the first attempt to fix the software.
- GoofsWhen the airliner plugs the Ethernet lead into the Ferrari. The Airliner would easily land on the runway and plug in while stationary. The airfield has similar sized aeroplanes on the ground so the runway must easily be long enough to land the air liner.
Featured review
The show is a total joke.
Basically, like the other reviewer said, none of this makes sense. The guy is some kind of super genius and what he does for living is fixing wifi. OK, fine, that's not completely impossible. A special agent has 2 hours to land 60 something planes and he comes to this particular dude. Why? This is a job for whoever set up the system update thing. By the way, yeah, a software update can totally take out a call centre for a full day. But no, there is no way in hell it will cause the sort of issue they are talking about. OK, fine, maybe somebody intentionally messed with the software which we don't know about, fine. But how can you have 24 hour backups that erase each other every 24 hours? And backups of WHAT, by the way. So let's go back to where the FBI agent comes to these guys and they agree to work for him. Why do they need to go anywhere? They already have all their tools and people, and they have no time, just do it remotely, what's your problem. As they get in the car and drive for a bit these "geniuses" realize - oh damn, we don't have to be there. I'm not a genius, and I'm not a superhacker, but that one was kind of obvious. So instead of driving back the guy goes, OK we need wifi with 0 % chance of going down. Why? Why in god's name do you need wifi for this? You really feel that the inconvenience of wired network connection is going to be a major issue here? What you really need is a good internet connection. Not necessarily a 100.0% reliable, just fast and working well at the moment. OK, fine. Next they go and do their thing and even get the hard drive. And by the way, no, this is not how data centres run. What they have one hard drive with no redundancy or fragmentation? Yeah, no. Then they have 2 of these super geniuses handle the hard drive. For some weird reason they have to bring it back with them. Because there is no internet in the data centre? Haha, right. OK, whatever. But then these two manage to destroy the hard drive on their way back by putting it next to a magnet. Well done. And then the part where the cute waitress mom is driving her car like it's her last day on earth. Just FYI, it's NOT helping you drive like crazy if all the street lights are turning green with no warning 1 second or less before you get to them. Hello, the other cars don't have the time to react. You are just basically running all red lights and hoping no one kills you. At that point I stopped watching. The show is a total joke.
