Short, nauseating and kind of cool!
In the period between the first films and 1905, almost all the films were between 30 seconds and two minutes long. Full-length movies debuted in 1903 but were rare--and only about 10-15 minutes. So, while I can give this one a numerical score, considering its length and subject matter, I'll pass.
A woman, I assume her stage name was Latina (or perhaps she was Hispanic- -though she did not appear to be) demonstrates her double-jointed shoulders. She interlocks her fingers and passes them over her head backwards until they touch her back. This is both nauseating and creepy as well as pretty cool. I assume the woman performed these sort of stunts at the circus or perhaps vaudeville and it is an odd historical record of her act. Pretty weird stuff!
