Apple TV+ has unveiled the trailer for the new ten-episode adult animated series ‘Strange Planet,’ which makes its global debut with the first three episodes on Wednesday, August 9, 2023.
Based on the New York Times #1 bestselling graphic novel and social media phenomenon of the same name, ‘Strange Planet’ is said to be a hilarious and perceptive look at a distant world not unlike our own. Set in a whimsical world of cotton candy pinks and purples, relatable blue beings explore the absurdity of everyday human traditions.
Voicing this world of beings are Gotham Award nominee Tunde Adebimpe (“Rachel Getting Married”), Emmy Award nominee Demi Adejuyigbe (“The Amber Ruffin Show”), Lori Tan Chinn (“Awkwafina Is Nora from Queens”), Critics Choice Award nominee Danny Pudi (“Community”) and Emmy Award nominee Hannah Einbinder (“Hacks”).

Fee and Foo have really stepped in it this time. The animated Harvey Beaks TV show has been cancelled after two seasons on Nickelodeon . While there has been no official announcement from Nick, creator C.H. Greenblatt confirmed the cancellation on Tumblr.Featuring a mild-mannered bird and his two wild best friends, Harvey Beaks debuted on Nickelodeon in March of 2015. The International Animated Film Society, Asifa-Hollywood, has announced the nominations for the 43rd Annual Annie Awards and "Inside Out" and "The Good Dinosaur," both Pixar movies, led the pack! "Inside Out" received fourteen nominations while "The Good Dinosaur" got nine.
My pick of the year for best animated feature is "Inside Out" but I love Charlie Kaufman's "Anomalisa" as well which picked five noms.
We'll find out the winners of the Annie Awards on February 6th!

Tonight, After the Kids’ Choice Awards, Nickelodeon is offering a sneak peek of its newest animated series, Harvey Beaks. The first look should air at 9:30-ish Et/Pt, right about the time Nick is mopping up the slime from the KCAs. The series about the adventures of a sweet bird and his mischievous friends comes from the mind of creator and executive producer C.H. Greenblatt (Chowder).
