Dancing with the Stars also returns to the network, along with What Would You Do?, Celebrity Jeopardy!, Celebrity Wheel of Fortune, and Shark Tank.
ABC will also be airing Celebrity Family Feud, Let’s Make a Deal, Claim to Fame, and Who Wants to Be a Millionaire? this summer.
One show that didn’t get renewed was America’s Funniest Home Videos, which has seen 34 seasons with ABC. It’s still not been decided if the long-running series will return.

When Kentaro Miura, the creator of Berserk, died in 2021, fans were not only heartbroken by his demise but also confused about what the future of his creation would be. The story of Guts and his adventures was left incomplete. However, the popularity of the series and Miura’s dedication allowed Studio Gaga to continue the plot.

During an interview in 2019, Miura revealed some crucial details about the future of Berserk and how the story would move forward. He essentially laid the foundation of the story moving forward. I have enjoyed watching Charlie Day in movies like Horrible Bosses and its sequel, Fist Fight, Vacation, and others. I like his screen presence and find his comedic performances to be very amusing… and yet I still haven’t gotten around to watching a single episode of his sitcom It’s Always Sunny in Philadelphia, which is currently sixteen seasons deep. I’m going to check that show out one of these days. In the meantime, Deadline reports that Day is set to star in a murder mystery called Kill Me, and he’s being joined in the cast by Allison Williams of Get Out, M3GAN, and Girls.
Written and directed by Peter Warren (The Auteur), Kill Me will see Day taking on the role of Jimmy, who wakes up in a bathtub after having tried to kill himself. Or, at least, that’s what it looks like to his friends and family.

The adventure of Guts in the Berserk manga began once again, one year after the death of its creator, Kentaro Miura. His best friend, Kouji Mori, who is also a manga creator known for works like Holyland, Jisatsutou, and Destroy and Revolution, collaborated with the artists at Studio Gaga to continue the legacy of Miura.
Guts in Berserk
Miura and Mori have been together since high school, and they have known each other for over 40 years. They both dreamed of becoming manga creators together, and Mori was the only one who knew the ending of Berserk. He is the perfect individual to complete Miura’s masterpiece, and the recent chapters that have been released by Studio Gaga prove it.

Mangaka Kentaro Miura’s Berserk
No one knew what the future would hold for Berserk and its protagonist Guts, until a year later, Miura’s friend and manga artist Kouji Mori announced, along with Studio Gaga, that they would try to preserve Miura’s legacy by continuing Berserk without him. The Killing star Sofie Gråbøl has reflected on how her Danish breakout series redefined “national and linguistic borders” when it came to TV viewing.
Gråbøl spoke with Deadline in the midst of her time leading the Canneseries jury, for which she is judging shows from the likes of China, Brazil and Sweden.
The Killing, which was a smash hit both locally in Denmark and around the world, airing for three seasons between 2007 and 2012 and spawning a U.S. remake, “was a defining moment and a visceral way of showing how TV series can be accessible for all of us,” she said.
“It was something we couldn’t imagine [at the time],” added Gråbøl. “That something so local from this small country could have such interest across the border. We had been so used to importing culture from other countries but suddenly those national and linguistic borders weren’t defined anymore.”

“I am a mother of young kids but, boy, I hope I’m a very different kind of mother than Eva,” says Danish star Birgitte Hjort Sørensen about her character in the Danish psychological drama “Dark Horse,” showcased this week in Canneseries’ official competition.
The story about a mother-daughter toxic relationship, set against the backdrop of addiction, turns on 17-year-old Anna and her mother Eva who move back to Eva’s small provincial Danish town from Shanghai. Their abrupt arrival at Eva’s brother, who runs a veterinarian surgery, is awkward for everyone, as Eva has been silent for years, busy dragging her daughter around the world, in her restless pursuit of new adventures and relationships.
Soon, the unhealthy co-dependent and toxic relationship between Anna and the pill-popper Eva emerges. In an urge to fit in with her school friends and break free from her dominating mother, Anna takes risks.

Call of Duty fans can now collect a unique Captain Price limited edition collectible that’s launching tomorrow to celebrate the 20th anniversary of the franchise. Activision has partnered with the world’s leading precious metals brand to bring a limited edition collection of Captain Price Gold and Silver bars.
These are highly limited in terms of the pieces that will be produced, and both bars come with in-game replica weapon charms as well. This is the first time in the franchise’s history that such a collectible is being made and should make for a memorable couple of items.

It’s easy to take the Aliens vs. Predator franchise for granted years after the crossover became mainstream, but long-time fans remember that it was actually quite the long journey to get this far. With a shared universe originally being teased at the end of Predator 2, our favorite movie monsters initially had to duke it out in the pages of cult comic-books and a series of hit video games that once dominated the licensed market.
In fact, from the 90s to the early 2000s, the Avp games were legendary due to their distinct gameplay and innovative multiplayer elements. However, after the release of a failed reboot in the seventh console generation, the series mostly faded into obscurity. Sure, we’d see great individual Alien and Predator titles (like 2014’s Alien: Isolation and IllFonic’s Predator: Hunting Grounds), but it seems like the rights holders have no interest in giving these creatures an updated rematch.

The Grammy for Best Country Song has gone to some of the most iconic tunes ever in the genre. From all-time classics like Glen Campbell‘s “Gentle on My Mind” and Willie Nelson‘s “On the Road Again” to modern smash hits like Lady A’s “Need You Now” and critically acclaimed gems like Kacey Musgraves’s “Space Cowboy,” voters are often very careful and accurate in awarding the very best in country music. This year’s set of nominees is, in my opinion, one of the strongest the category has ever seen, with a mix of Grammy favorites and already-classic country songs facing off.
Perhaps the only song that doesn’t have much of a chance to win here is Brandy Clark’s “Buried.” The track isn’t really a big hit or particularly acclaimed, and Clark will likely fare better in the Americana categories anyway. Still, Clark got six nominations this year,...

This is a weird year for Best Pop Duo/Group Performance at the Grammys, as none of the nominated songs are particularly smash hits, unlike past years with winners like Lil Nas X and Billy Ray Cyrus’s “Old Town Road (Remix),” Portugal. The Man’s “Feel It Still” or Gotye and Kimbra’s “Somebody That I Used to Know.”
SEEGold Derby Music Awards nominations: ‘Barbie,’ Taylor Swift, Lana Del Rey, …
The biggest hit here (by far) is Taylor Swift’s “Karma.” However, the solo version is the one that’s really a big hit. The remix featuring Ice Spice, which is the version nominated here, has only racked up a relatively modest 74 million streams, which would make it only the third most streamed hit here. That version was also not particularly well received, which could hurt its chances. Still, voters might just turn a blind eye to which version they are voting for,...

Did Embracer Group get too big, too soon? We chart the rise and financial turmoil of one of the videogames industry’s giants.
In the spring of 2022, Embracer Group was a games industry colossus, with its market valuation sitting at almost $10bn. By this point, the Swedish company owned some of the biggest properties and studios around, having recently purchased the rights to the likes of Tomb Raider, Deus Ex and Thief from Japan’s Square Enix, as well as several studios involved in making them, including Crystal Dynamics and Eidos Montreal.
The firm also had a wealth of other major names crowded under its banner, including rights to The Lord Of The Rings, comic book publisher Dark Horse Media, Gearbox Software, creators of the Borderlands series, and Asmodee, a publisher of card and tabletop games.
In a company profile published by the Financial Times, one industry analyst criticised Embracer...

I don’t know if Dark Horse is actually trying to adapt every last bit of short Neil Gaiman into comics form. He’s written a lot of stuff, and much of it wouldn’t adapt well. But it does feel like they’re trying, at least, with a long sequence of individual graphic novels and a few omnibuses stretching back more than a decade.
The grandly titled “Neil Gaiman Library” has mostly been stories that can turn into reasonable-length books. I’ve seen a bunch of them: A Study in Emerald ; Only the End of the World Again ; Chivalry ; Snow, Glass, Apples ; and Troll Bridge . But not all Gaiman stories can be fit into that length, no matter how hard Procrustes works.
So in 2019 we got The Problem of Susan and Other Stories , which includes adaptations of the title story, another short story, and two poems. Presumably, with this as a model,...

“Darkness Falls wasn’t much different from any old-fashioned town on the Atlantic Ocean from Nantucket to Key West. Except for one thing.”
That one thing, of course, is Matilda Dixon, better known as the Tooth Fairy. Most horror fans likely recognize this in-your-mouth ghost from her 2003 big-screen vehicle, but what they might not realize is, the movie Darkness Falls was accompanied by a novelization. The first of two media tie-ins — the other being a single-issue comic from Dark Horse — was published by PocketBooks shortly before the movie was released in theaters. And, like in many cases, much of what ended up on the cutting room floor can be found in the novelization.
While novelizations tend to be different from their cinematic counterparts, Keith R. A. DeCandido’s literary adaptation of Darkness Falls stays largely true to the movie. In fact, this book uses a more intact version of James Vanderbilt...
