Will this give the Peacock Network a significant leg up in the ratings for the whole 2023-24 television season? How many NBC shows will be cancelled or renewed by the end? Stay tuned.

Many Chicago P.D. fans felt a guest star would appear on the Season 11 finale.
It was the final episode for actress Tracy Spiridakos, and the prevailing thought was that Jesse Lee Soffer might resurface.
Jesse used to play Detective Jay Halstead – the husband of Detective Hailey Upton (played by Tracy).
Jesse’s final episode was early in Season 10, so he hadn’t been on the show for a while. But he had recently directed the 12th episode of Season 13, creating rumors he would stick around for the 13th episode.
Chicago P.D. fans didn’t see an Upstead reunion during the season finale, providing little closure for that romance.
Many Chicago P.D. fans got UpsteadForever trending on social media again, making it clear how much they missed the duo.

Hank Voight (played by Jason Beghe) was in serious trouble.

Is everyone okay after that tension-filled season finale?
A good chunk of Chicago Pd Season 11 Episode 13 featured Voight facing off with serial killer Matson or hallucinating while alone, and Upton's rescue effort didn't help things.
Let's all take a minute to catch our breaths before we dive into that disturbing season finale!
Matson Vs. Voight Was One of Chicago Pd's Creepiest Stories
One-on-one standoffs with a creepy villain are hit-or-miss propositions. They can be fascinating character studies, psychological thrillers, or annoying and scary for the hell of it.
Voight vs. Matson was among the most disturbing, second only to Law & Order: Svu's William Lewis saga.
Voight and Upton won their battle against Matson partially because Voight knew how to push all of Matson's buttons. He refused to show pain or fear when Matson' tortured him and didn't do what he wanted, either.

‘Chicago P.D.’: Tracy Spiridakos On Saying Goodbye In Season 11 Finale; Surprise Elias Koteas Return
Spoiler Alert: The following will reveal major plot points from the Season 11 finale titled “More.”
Tracy Spiridakos said goodbye to NBC’s Chicago P.D. in the Season 11 finale in the most dramatic way possible. Let’s tip our hats to showrunner Gwen Sigan who knows how to torture us—and also apparently Voight (Jason Beghe)—to protect the bittersweet sendoff Hailey Upton deserves.
“I feel really good about it,” Spiridakos tells Deadline about Upton’s conclusion. “Gwen told me her idea to send Haley off and I was excited about it. I love that it’s just so different from what we’ve seen her go through in the past; it’s this really happy send-off for her and I absolutely love it.”
Sigan reveals she never had plans to kill off Upton, even though they went to great lengths to make it appear they were. She said she...

Spoiler Alert: This story includes storylines from “More,” the May 22 Season 11 finale of “Chicago P.D.”
Hailey Upton is no longer a Chicago resident. The Season 11 “Chicago P.D.” finale served as the final episode for Tracy Spiridakos, who joined the show midway through Season 4 and has been a series regular since Season 5.
The episode was one of the most emotional of the season, with the squad searching for Voight (Jason Beghe), who was being tortured by serial killer Frank Matson (Dennis Flanagan). Matson’s Mo is forcing his first victim to call the person they love most, convince them to come rescue them — and then kill them both. Since Voight’s closest (and really only) friend is Hailey, that’s who Matson wanted him to call. In true Voight fashion, he refused to call and would rather be stabbed over and over again.
After that happened, in a delirious state, Voight saw Alvin Olinsky.

The announcement was made ahead of Season 11 that it would be her final season playing Detective Hailey Upton. But she never went public with the information.
Instead, Tracy let the season play out, and ahead of the season finale, she has finally addressed her departure.
Tracy joined the show at the end of Season 4, becoming an important part of the Intelligence team and vital to the show following the exit of Sophia Bush (she played Detective Erin Lindsay).
Her character had many fans, especially when Upton’s relationship with Detective Jay Halstead (Jesse Lee Soffer) moved forward.
Many Chicago P.D. fans still share the hashtag UpsteadForever when posting about the couple and the show on social media.

Many Chicago P.D. fans loved watching Hailey Upton and Jay Halstead on the program.
The two detectives helped lead the Intelligence unit, all while working hard for Hank Voight.
The duo began dating and eventually got married, with fans giving them the relationship name Upstead during that run.
Early in Season 10, actor Jesse Lee Soffer appeared in his final episode. It meant the writers had to write out Halstead.
It was a difficult moment for Upstead fans, who pushed the hashtag UpsteadForever to draw continued interest to the characters.

Hank Voight is in harm’s way during the Chicago P.D. season finale.
During the penultimate episode of Season 11, Voight was taken from his home after being seemingly drugged.
It appeared that Voight had been drugged, leading to hallucinations and immobilizing the Intelligence leader.
As Intelligence began zeroing in on a lead suspect in the serial killer case, his team had no idea that Voight had been taken.
When Detective Hailey Upton went by his house, she became suspicious that his car was there, his backdoor was unlocked, and Voight was missing.
Was Voight about to become the latest victim of a serial killer that had plagued Intelligence for most of the season?

In Dick Wolf's Chicago One franchise, Chicago P.D. stands out as the most intense. Over the course of eleven seasons, the officers and detectives of the 21st District Intelligence Unit have faced devastating incidents that have deeply affected them and their loved ones.
Due to the WGA and SAG-AFTRA strikes, the new seasons of the Chicago One shows have undergone some not so pleasant changes, and Chicago P.D. has taken a big hit in terms of budget cuts, cast shifts, as well as the reduction of the total number of episodes in Season 11, and that's why the final episode will be hitting our screens very soon. The events of the past week have pushed the risks to the limit and none other than the head of the Chicago P.D. Intelligence Unit, Hank Voight (Jason Beghe), is now in mortal danger.

Unfortunately, another series regular ends their run on the season finale.

Thank goodness, Adam Ruzek is finally back.
It feels like it has been forever since we've seen the man, but those craving his reappearance can rest assured that he'll return just in time for the finale.
With Chicago Pd Season 11 Episode 12 serving as the penultimate episode of the season, we can expect things to kick into high gear.
One of the most promising aspects of the "Inventory" installment is that it's "all hands on deck."
After we've spent much of the season lamenting constant character-centric installments, disappearing unit members, and cast shifts, the entire unit is on hand, leading us into the finale.
And there can't be a better thing to unite them than continuing to look into the serial killer case.
Fortunately for us, whatever progress they make regarding this case will lead to a heck of a lot of action.
Seriously. almost every promotional still we see for...

NBC has unveiled its 2024 fall schedule, which highlights franchise dramas, two nights of laughs, unscripted hits, live specials, and holiday programming. All new series will stream the next day on Peacock along with the rest of NBC’s entertainment lineup.
Three new series are set to premiere in the fall, including the drama Brilliant Minds, starring Zachary Quinto and inspired by the true story of a revolutionary, larger-than-life neurologist, Oliver Wolf, and his team of interns as they explore the last great frontier — the human mind — while also grappling with their own relationships and mental health.
Also coming is St. Denis Medical, which stars Wendi McLendon-Covey, Allison Tolman, and David Alan Grier and is from co-creators Justin Spitzer and Eric Ledgin. It brings the laughs with a mockumentary about an underfunded, understaffed Oregon hospital where dedicated doctors and nurses try their best to treat patients while maintaining their own sanity.

Many Chicago Fire characters have been missing in action this season, leading to questions about their whereabouts.
The absences became particularly pronounced during the latest episode (Inside Man), where Kelly Severide (played by Taylor Kinney) got taken for a ride by some domestic terrorists.
Truck 81 was stolen from Firehouse 51, forcing the remaining people on shift to work together with Chicago P.D. to track down and save Severide.
With Chief Boden still on leave and Severide mysteriously gone, it fell upon the other leaders of the firehouse to lead the rescue.
The action helped shift some of the focus away from the fact that Mouch (Christian Stolte) and Sam Carver (Jake Lockett) were also gone.
Within the storylines, Mouch was at a training session, Carver was on furlough, and Boden was off helping his stepson.
Why are so many characters missing from the Chicago Fire episodes?

The final Chicago P.D. episode for Detective Hailey Upton debuts soon on NBC.
Actress Tracy Spiridakos has played Upton for many years, but her run ends with the Chicago P.D. season finale.
Hints about something going on with Upton have been dropped during many episodes this season, increasing the likelihood of something boiling over.
Having Upton exit so soon after the show lost Detective Jay Halstead (played by Jesse Lee Soffer) could be difficult for viewers.
Many fans and even people from the show have posted #SaveUpton on social media. And die-hard fans still post #UpStead as the relationship name for Upton and Halstead.
Those same fans hope Halstead makes a surprise appearance in Upton’s final episode to provide some closure.

Chicago Fire aired a new episode that featured Kelly Severide, but Chief Boden was absent again.
Much of the latest episode featured Severide (Taylor Kinney) trying to stop a trio of domestic terrorists.
Truck 81 was stolen from Firehouse 51 in the middle of the night, and Severide was along for the ride. It turned out that the trio of gunmen who stole it were planning to turn it into a bomb.
When Stella Kidd (Miranda Rae Mayo) woke up later that evening, she discovered that Severide and Truck 81 were missing, leading to an intense investigation.
Chief Boden and Severide were gone, leaving Kidd to take the lead at the firehouse as Chicago P.D. was called in to help.
Severide stopped the terrorists, and the team came to his rescue as the episode ended, but Boden was still Mia.

Without a doubt, Kevin Atwater is the purest, most universally adored, and best character in the series.
And it's always a delight when he gets some focus, which is precisely what Chicago Pd Season 11 Episode 11 set out to do as it touched on some of Atwater's finest attributes: his dedication, compassion, sympathy, and nobility.
But with all great attributes, there is a drawback, as everything is a double-edged sword.
The hour was a follow-up on Chicago Pd Season 11 Episode 5.
Overall, it was an average installment.
Kevin is such a beloved character, and he's often suffered almost as much as Trudy when he gets shoved into the background.
As a result, any time we spend with him at the forefront is a real treat. In that sense, you cling to his installments with a death grip because he finally gets focused, but Laroyce Hawkins is also incredible.

Choosing paths to success is extremely difficult. You have to try many ways, fail a few times, and after some time you'll find the way that suits you best and grow naturally. Well, at least that's the first way of thinking. But there's another one... easier.
Copying someone's success story can be tricky: yes, you seem to be following the same rules and doing the same things. So you would think that the results would be the same as those of the people you are inspired by. But the thing is, life is so unpredictable that what worked for one person will never work for another.
And, of course, both of these methods are used in business. For example, there's a way to take several highly-rated shows in a universe and spin them together to create a whole new huge universe that spans multiple stories. The perfect example is NBC's One Chicago franchise,...

Some disappointing Chicago Fire spoilers have just been revealed.
Eamonn Walker, who has played Chief Boden on the NBC drama for 12 years, is out as a series regular.
The previous episode of Chicago Fire showed what a Bodenless Firehouse 51 looks like, as Kelly Severide (played by Taylor Kinney) was left in charge.
That’s not a temporary situation, it turns out, as bad news has been revealed about the future of Chief Boden
Boden has served as a father figure for the family at Firehouse 51. Even when he took a new position, he had his office at the firehouse.
But now, some heavy hints have been revealed about the character’s future. It will mean a shift in the tone for the One Chicago show.
Eamonn Walker is no longer a series regular
According to Deadline, Eamonn Walker is stepping away as a series regular. It means he will no longer be a primary character.

One thing has become unequivocally true about Chicago Pd episodes.
When it comes to those centrics, Kevin Atwater installments never miss.
Fortunately for us, it's his time to shine, and Chicago Pd Season 11 Episode 11 is bound to deliver.
We haven't had an Atwater-centric since Chicago Pd Season 11 Episode 5, which had Kev looking into a series of armed robberies and having a judgment call he's sure he won't repeat.
Since that installment, we've seen Atwater fall a bit into the background as other characters got some focus, but he's also had enough presence to exude leadership skills, setting him up perfectly for an upswing in his career.
In its way, the season has definitely been setting Atwater up for more. Upon Hailey's departure, it won't be a surprise to see him take the mantle as a second-in-command.
And the way he's handled cases has been that of a level-headed and...

Chicago P.D. Season 11 is winding down with only a few new episodes that remain.
One of those episodes is called Inventiry, and Jesse Lee Soffer directed it.
Jesse played Detective Jay Halstead on the Chicago P.D. cast. The character was last season, early in Season 10.
Halstead re-enlisted, leaving behind his wife, Detective Hailey Upton (played by Tracy Spiridakos).
Despite Halstead’s exit, Jesse returned to direct an episode later that season. And he was back on set to direct one this spring as well.
Some Chicago P.D. set photos featured Jesse hard at work, leading to rumors that he might return as Halstead.

Chicago Fire is back following the long spring hiatus and has some exciting new episodes for May.
The May 1 episode of Chicago Fire introduced a new firefighter – and he has several people from Firehouse 51 suspicious.
We also saw Violet Mikami enamored with the new paramedic Lyla Novak, (played by Jocelyn Hudon).
The new firefighter and paramedic help bring youth to Firehouse 51, and the characters could be on board for Chicago Fire Season 13.
Seeing Kelly Severide in charge with Chief Boden out of the office was interesting, though Severide seemed overwhelmed by the end of the episode.
Hopefully, Severide is well-rested, because he will have a tough time during the next new episode.

The Chicago P.D. hiatus ended with a new episode on Wednesday night.
When we last saw the show, Dante Torres was finishing up an undercover case to bring down a drug boss, Rafel Perez (Julio Cedillo).
During that case, Torres became romantically involved with the wife of Rafel Perez, Gloria Perez (Yara Martinez).
In a dramatic conclusion, Gloria killed Rafel. Rather than run, she told Torres she was remaining in Chicago. It could mean the story circles back later.
Also, earlier this season, the Chicago P.D. cast added actress Bojana Novakovic as Detective Josephine Petrovic. The quirky detective helped Intelligence on several cases, but Upton (Tracy Spiridakos) became suspicious of her and discovered a drinking problem.
A serial killer also remained on the loose, but this new episode was focused on a separate case.
