Sex & Nudity

  • Eggsy rescues a female hostage and he kisses her.
  • Very little sexual content, just a couple of references such as "do it in the asshole." A couple of seconds closeup of a woman's butt, but genitals are obscured by angle and darkness.

Violence & Gore

  • A lot of one-on-one fighting, with many people killed by gunshot, stabbing, and bludgeoning. Blood from head wounds is shown only for a split second at a time, reducing the impact.
  • One massive 4 minute long continuous, bloody, gratuitous, violence free-for-all is shown in detailed closeup with so many obscenely graphic deaths that it is difficult to keep count.
  • Many groups of enraged people are shown seriously fighting each other, usually from a distance, and without obvious blood in most cases.
  • A ship blows up.
  • A man is splattered with goo. Very cartoonish and unrealistic.
  • The action is very stylized and over the top, but not graphic in many cases. When injury or blood is shown, it is usually only visible for a short while.
  • The church scene is horrific and very graphic. Very violent.
  • The film has violent scenes, but it is not full of them.
  • A man got sliced in half. Not Graphic and not gruesome.
  • The church scene is the most violent scene in the the movie but its NOT the only one.
  • A man enters a house and shoots someone in the stomach (no blood). He then shoots another man in the head (bloody), and another man in the finger (it gets cut completely) and then in the head (pretty graphic). He then quickly shoots someone else in the head (we very quickly see blood). The man is than sliced in two (not graphic at all and cartoonish)
  • A tooth is knocked out of a man's mouth during a brawl and the camera follows it through the air in slow-motion.
  • People are shown in danger of drowning. One person appears to have drowned.

Profanity

  • 116 uses of "fuck", 37 uses of "shit", 2 uses of "hell", 4 uses of "ass", 1 use of "bitch", 1 use of "son of a bitch", 3 uses of "goddamn".
  • 'Bitch' is said twice.
  • 'Ass' is said trice.
  • The word "dickhead" is said lots of times
  • 'Goddamn' is used at least twice.
  • 2 C-Bangs are dropped, but are inaudible.
  • Eggsy swears the most.
  • Heavy profanity throughout, not your typical R rated spy film. Very strong language.
  • A character yells what sounds like the N-Word.
  • There is a newspaper with a headline that says "Bitches be crazy", easy to miss because it is part of the background.
  • The middle finger is used twice, and a couple other times

Alcohol, Drugs & Smoking

  • Alcoholic spirits are drunk to celebrate and invoke bravery.
  • A recurring character spends much of his time at the local pub

Frightening & Intense Scenes

  • One extended, closeup scene where a group of people are forced to savagely fight each other. Very violent.
  • A scene of a stepfather threatening his stepson with a knife, shouting and screaming in his face. The boy's mother attempts to interfere, he turns the knife on her, then back to the boy before the boy is able to escape.
  • An infant is placed in serious peril.

Spoilers

The Parents Guide items below may give away important plot points.

Violence & Gore

  • An animal is implicitly killed; we hear a gunshot. However, a later line implies that it was simply a blank.
  • The recruits have to jump from an airplane and land safely, which is hard for Roxy due to her fear of heights. Merlin announces that one of the recruits has no parachute, but in the end, this does not turn out to be true.
  • The recruits are drugged with Rohypnol and each of them wake up to find themselves on a train track and are each asked several questions to test whether they would die for the Kingsmen before almost getting run over by a train.
  • With Pomp and Circumstance playing in the background, dozens of world leaders and wealthy people have their heads detonated. With the exception of the final head in the scene, no blood or gore is shown.

Frightening & Intense Scenes

  • A main character is shot in the head by antagonist and is killed instantly, This is seen by the characters friends and colleagues and is very emotional.
  • A massacre takes place in a church, where a main character and everyone else in the church is turned violent by a computer signal. Extremely violent with many people graphically killed (shot, stabbed, impaled etc). It's over the top, the lone survivor walks out and is then shot in the head by the antagonist, this is the most violent scene in the movie.
