The crew was very small to handle the twenty children present on set. On average, there were only four people, including the director and the assistant director. Two were in charge of the technical aspects, while the other two were managing the extras between takes.
The final scene was filmed during winter with a temperature of -2 °C. The actors, wearing lightweight costumes, would seek refuge in the cars between takes to warm up. Meanwhile, the freezing crew was setting up the equipment, including the camera, which struggled to turn on. In fact, at the end of the film, you can see Gabrielle and Thibault trying not to tremble.
