Set amid a divided country, with fear and civil unrest at it’s peak, Officer Down tells the story of police officer Alex Trent, who becomes trapped in a rundown building during a riot and finds himself facing off with the very people he was sent to help arrest. With allegiances unclear and enemies not who they seem, Alex must decide who to trust and find his strength in order to survive.

Alex Trent (Martin Delaney) is a young British Police Officer and is part of a task force that has been sent into a rundown building smack dab in the middle of Civil Riots that are dividing our fair nation. The mission is a man, they are there to capture Elijah (Ben Turner) but shortly after arriving Trent is chased down and separated from the team. Soon after he bumps into Amir (Josef Altin) who on of the face of things wants to help but can Trent put aside his personal prejudice and trust Amir or is Amir exactly the sort of person he was sent in to get.

A West Texas A&M University police officer died this week of severe complications from a feral cat bite he suffered while responding to a call, police say.
Cpl. Monty Platt passed away just two weeks after the cat bit through his gloves and punctured his skin as he attempted to capture the injured animal, according to the Officer Down Memorial Page.
Platt, 47, had an allergic reaction to the bite, according to the page. Authorities also announced on the department’s Facebook page that he died at the University Medical Center in Lubbock, Texas, Tuesday due to “medical complications” as a result of the bite.

Bullets were flying, and Harlee was yelling “Officer down!” into her phone at the start of Shades of Blue Season 2 Episode 9.
We had to wait until the end to figure out who had been shot.
From what little we saw in that opening scene, I could tell that it wasn’t anyone from their team, but I never expected it to be Nate bleeding out on Wozniak’s floor.
Harlee had hoped that confronting Stahl about his dead partner would at least buy her a cease fire for a few days.
Hardly. The attacks are coming from all angles now, and it’s going to be almost impossible for the entire team to dodge a bullet, literal or figurative.
It felt as though we were waiting for the other shoe to drop concerning Loman’s interview with Nate. For a moment it looked like Loman had come to his senses.

AnnaLynne McCord and Dominic Purcell make such a cute couple. The two first met on the set of Officer Down, and began dating in 2011. Although they split three years later, they became friends again when the Prison Break actor was diagnosed with skin cancer in 2015. "I was there with him because whether or not he knew it, I love him," the former 90210 star confessed during a podcast. Shortly after, the pair rekindled their romance, and have been full of sweet moments ever since. Despite their 17-year age difference - she's 29 and he's 46 - the two seem to be head over heels, constantly gushing about each other and showing Pda. Highlighting the key chess pieces found in John Hillcoat’s star-studded crime caper, the latest Triple 9 trailer (featurette?) has landed, flanked by a string of dark and atmospheric clips.
Arriving by way of Open Road Films, Triple 9 stands as Hillcoat’s first foray behind the lens since 2012’s Lawless, and the director has continued his streak of assembling a who’s who of Hollywood talent. At the core of the actioner is Casey Affleck’s rookie cop Chris Allen, who is pulled into an illicit masterplan involving blood, greed and deceit when his precinct is bribed by the Russian mafia.
Scrambling for options, the only way to pull off the seemingly impossible heist is to execute a Triple 9 (police jargon for Officer Down) in order to stage a distraction on the other end of town. But when the chips come down, the corrupt group find themselves questioning...

"They look and act like humans, which gives our clients the most realistic experience possible." Since the year is almost up, we're starting to get teases for films that will end up in the dumping ground of the early part of the year (January, February and most of March). This time it's the sci-fi action thriller Vice, which looks like a poor man's version of I, Robot meets Surrogates, and it even has the latter's star Bruce Willis involved. Loooking and feeling more like a film adaptation of the canceled Fox series "Almost Human," the movie follows a female android, used to carry out fantasies at a resort called Vice, that seems to be becoming more human with flashbacks and whatnot. Of course, she escapes, they pursue, and action ensues. Watch? Here's the first trailer for Brian A. Miller's Vice from YouTube (via THR): Vice is directed by Brian A.

It’s been a cruel, cruel summer for the lofties of Fox’s New Girl, who’ve endured wedding after wedding with little more than a refrigerator door full of save-the-dates to show for it.
But as Season 4 opens (Tuesday at 9/8c), the group’s long, nuptial nightmare is drawing to a much-desired close.
“We pick them up [as they're] about to attend the very last wedding of the season,” executive producer Brett Baer tells TVLine. And all of those champagne toasts and garter tosses have proven fertile romantic ground for some (Schmidt, Coach), not so much for others (Jess, Winston).

While Bruce Willis is not returning "The Expendables 3," the retro shoot-'em-up fest opening this weekend, the action veteran has two movies on the way, "Frank Miller's Sin City: A Dame To Kill For" and "The Prince," and while you've seen plenty promotion from the former by now, here's a taste of the latter. Directed by Brian A. Miller ("Officer Down," "The Outsider"), and featuring John Cusack, Jason Patric, 50 Cent and Rain, the story follows a retired assassin who must face a former rival when his daughter is kidnapped. As this exclusive clip indicates, Willis' character aims to bring his enemy down. "The Prince" opens in theatres and VOD on August 22nd. Watch below.

"I'm not gonna forgive you. Only God forgives." Just in case the first trailer for the action thriller called The Prince didn't convince you that this was not going to be a good movie, a second trailer has arrived, showing a little more of the story. Jason Patric plays a former assassin and father who finds his daughter in danger when a rival assassin (Bruce Willis) kidnaps her in order to get back at him for some wrong done in the past. The only interesting aspect of the film is Willis as the bad guy, but he really seems to be phoning this one in. And again, we're not very sure what John Cusack is doing here, but whatever. Watch? A movie starring Bruce Willis, John Cusack and Jason Patric sounds awesome. It’s the kind of line-up that film fans dream of. Between them, these three actors have starred in some of the most iconic films of the past thirty years, but, unfortunately, the trailer for The Prince undermines that excitement to the point of being almost off-putting – and there are two very simple reasons why.
The Prince tells the story of a mechanic with a questionable past (Patric), who is reluctantly drawn back into the shady underworld he once left behind when he finds that his old rival (Willis) has kidnapped his daughter. Working to rescue her, he must confront his past. Directed by Brian A. Miller (Officer Down), the film comes from a screenplay by Andre Fabrizio (Photo) and Jeremy Passmore (Red Dawn).
So, here’s the first thing that’s wrong with it – it’s nothing new.

The last time Bruce Willis teamed up with Curtis "50 Cent" Jackson for a movie, it was the abysmal action thriller Set Up, and now it appears neither of them have learned their lesson, because they can be seen back together in The Prince. However, Bruce Willis isn't the good guy, and 50 Cent isn't one of the leads. Instead, it's Jason Patric who takes the role of a father who finds his daughter in danger when a rival assassin (Willis) kidnaps her in order to get back at him for some wrong done in the past. John Cusack is here for some reason too, and this just looks like it's destined for the bargain bin all over again. Here's the first trailer for Brian A. AnnaLynne McCord's swimsuit looks like it could have come from the pages of Fifty Shades of Grey! The 90210 star wore a tiny, bondage-inspired bikini Jan. 1 for a day at Sydney, Australia's Manly Beach with Dominic Purcell. The gold rings and strappy ties on AnnaLynne's two-piece might leave some interesting tan lines, but the 26-year-old brunette beauty didn't look too concerned. She was all smiles on New Year's Day, holding hands with her 43-year-old Prison Break star beau (who didn't look too bad himself while wearing only a pair of swim trunks). Someone is messing with Craig Fairbrass’ daughter and they’re going to regret it in “Officer Down” director Brian A. You know how it is with these evil companies, always trying to make money and killing people and such. Seriously, guys, stop being so easy! Anyways. The film co-stars Jason Patric as a cop and Shannon Elizabeth shows up here somewhere, though I’m not entirely sure because she’s only in the trailer for a few seconds, and I’m not entirely clear what her role in the shenanigans is. Last week was pretty monumental for Warner Bros. and DC as far as television goes. Not only is "Arrow" returning to the CW with a second season later this year, with future plans for a "Flash" spin-off series, but NBC and now Fox have officially announced their plans to develop a "Constantine" and a Jim Gordon-centric "Gotham" TV series respectively.
Taking place years before the Dark Knight ever took to the streets of Gotham City, "Gotham" will star a young James "Jim" Gordon as he works his way up from lowly detective to commissioner of the entire Gotham City Police Department. The fact that Gordon will be the main character of "Gotham" makes complete sense to us here at Splash Page. After all, he's had a number of great starring roles in the comic books throughout the years. You can check out some of the best Jim Gordon stories past the jump!

Cop dramas are a dime a dozen, and yet filmmakers still manage to find a way to squeeze compelling stories out of the genre, and occasionally a memorable film as well. Brian A. Miller’s Officer Down falls somewhere in the middle due both to its positive and negative traits. A cast filled with familiar faces like Stephen Dorff, The Shield’s Walton Goggins, James Woods, Dominic Purcell, Stephen Lang, David Boreanaz, and AnnaLynne McCord make for a wide range of interesting characters, but the story they’re in is so convoluted that for the first hour of the film you’re not entirely certain what’s going on—and yet it tantalizes just enough of a mystery to help you overlook some shaky clichéd dialogue and keep focused on trying to figure out what all the moving pieces are working towards.

AnnaLynne McCord and Dominic Purcell didn't look like exes earlier today. Reps for the 90210 and Prison Break stars haven't returned requests for comment, but the actors didn't have to say a word to make it seem that a report of their breakup may have been overblown. Or at least they're staying friends! The pair were out having breakfast in Santa Monica, Calif., Friday and the obligatory paparazzo who showed up to record the moment for posterity caught them walking with their arms around each other's waists. McCord, 25, and Purcell, 42, started dating last summer after shooting the crime drama Officer Down together. He has four children with ex-wife Rebecca...

AnnaLynne recently spoke with the magazine about being sexually abused. "It happened to me once by somebody that I knew, and it is a very interesting thing to feel that you do not...

Danny Trejo and Avatar’s Stephen Lang are both in negotiations to sign on for the action thriller In the Blood, being directed by John Stockwell.
Designed as a vehicle for former Mma middleweight champ Gina Carano, Blood centers on a woman whose husband vanished while they were vacationing in the Caribbean.
Trejo will play the main villain, Big Biz, while Lang will be seen as the protagonist’s father/mentor who trained her to be skillfully self-sufficient and brutally tough.
The script is penned by James Robert Johnston and Bennett Yellin (Joy Ride 2: Dead Ahead) which was polished by Sean Finnegan and Gregg Parker.
Stockwell, which all movies starring attractive ladies in tropical locations and settings, earlier said:
