NO SHORT CUT is a rather dry public information film from the Ministry of Transport, advising cyclists to take their Cycling Proficiency Test. There are two characters in the film and their cycling methods are contrasted; Jimmy is the neat and proper do-gooder while Les is the rough and tumble tearaway getting into trouble. This one went on a little too long for my liking, and there's something more than a little condescending about the presentation of the message.
