Galapagos as a backdrop for Christian arguments
turvinator23 May 2022
This is not a documentary following the lives of animals in their natural environment. Nor is it scientifically accurate. Basically it's a film trying to refute Darwin, with a few shots of animals. What we really see is the indoctrination of faulty pseudoscience science into a 16 year old boy. A boy who is not given the opportunity to look at both sides of the creation/evolution debate and make a decision.

My gf invited me over to watch a documentary on Galapagos. Sneaky. This is not about the animals at all. This is about the feelings and interpretations of individuals and why they believe their narrative trumps fact and probability.

These men do not make a solid case for God, nor do they present decisive proof that supports their theories. A kid raised on this drivel cannot hold their own in a logical debate with those who do support the scientific understanding that Darwin helped create.

If you get really good with a nerf gun, it won't matter when you take that nerf gun into a real gunfight.
