The memorial to Jessica Walter killed me. If only so many of our actors and actresses go out with such love and appreciation from their coworkers and showmakers.
What killed me more was that scene when Archer comes back to his place to find Lana in tears. Finally he knew to just shut his stupid immature mouth up seeing his friend grieving. Let her know he was there for her. Sip his drink and keep his mouth shut. No quip. No anything. That touch on her shoulder from him and her hand on his was truly heartwarming and saddening at the same time. Their relationship became one of warmth and compassion. Well...at least in private between them.
I've seen live action shows try to accomplish this and yet Archer did in ten seconds. Character growth (sort of) and a way to really drive home what characters who we know are going through. Best episode of the series.
