This is the second episode in the show's run that provides a historical background. The first is A Dark Quiet Death (2020). Both were directed by Rob McElhenney.
Towards the end of the episode, C. W. walks out of the restaurant "Casa Vega". This is an actual restaurant in the San Fernando Valley, which also appears in Quentin Tarentino's Once Upon a Time... in Hollywood (2019).
With the exception of Ian (Rob McElhenney), Poppy (Charlotte Nicdao) and C.W. (F. Murray Abraham) in a very brief scene at the end, none of the main cast feature in this episode. It is also the only episode (at release) that does not take place within the Mythic Quest offices.
The acoustic guitar solo heard at the end, continuing as the final credits roll, is a performance by Uros Baric in 2014 of Jerry Snyder's guitar arrangement of Franz Schubert's "Ellens dritter Gesang" , commonly known as "Ave Maria".
Robert A. Heinlein novels mentioned or seen: Between Planets (1951), Tunnel in the Sky (1955), Have Space Suit-Will Travel (1958), Glory Road (1963), and The Moon Is a Harsh Mistress (1966).
