The Trial of Fatty
E! Mysteries & Scandals: Fatty Arbuckle (1998)
Robert Young (author), Clyde Arbuckle (brother), Brian Anthony (film historian), Marc Wanamaker (film historian), Eleanor Keaton (Buster Keaton's wife), Andy Edmonds (author) and Ken Waters (journalism expert) are interviewed about the life and infamous trial of Roscoe 'Fatty' Arbuckle.
Arbuckle went through one of the biggest and most notorious trials in Hollywood history. Most film buffs know about the harsh lies that ruined Arbuckle's career. It was one of Hollywood's first big scandals and remains controversial to this date. If you're a fan of this series then there's enough scandal in Arbuckle's life to make for a great episode. The interviews are a major plus and especially since a couple of the people actually knew him. The historians do a nice job explaining what went on during the trial and after.
