This is a pretty good Grinch parody yeah alot of mother jokes but a really lighthearted ending before the end credits i laughed a few times it was enjoyable the only gripe i have is a few repeating jokes but get past that and you have a decent episode one of the better modern X Mas Episode Merry Christmas Everybody

Family Guy is still pretty funny this Episode The First No L is pretty funny. In this episode Lois is sick of the Family doing nothing for Christmas. So she Takes a Vacation but really goes to a Local Motel to spy on the Family. Anyway the episode references How The Grinch Stole Christmas with Lois stealing Christmas from the Family & Stewie dressing up as Cindy Lou Who Anyway Pretty Funny Christmas Episode 8/10 Merry Christmas Everybody

A welcome return to actual observational comedy
RogerBorg6 January 2022
This feels cathartic after multiple episodes lousy with Trump Derangement Syndrome: just a basic Christmas (not "holidays") episode featuring the plight of the urban housewife. One of the very, very, very few episodes that my wife can actually empathise with.

Decently written, not overly preachy, and satirises rather than sings a paean to CURRENT_YEAR wokeness. About damn time too.

Christmas Episode

Warning: Spoilers
Not great, but not bad here. A lot of the jokes were predictable, but I think we did need a feel good episode with the 2020 we've had. A nice Christmas special can go a long way.

I did not realize that they don't do a Christmas episode every year
jpapanone15 December 2020
I just looked back on IMDB around December of every season. All the seasons blur together and I can't remember what is what. Family Guy Christmas episodes are hit or miss...but I really enjoy the hits. This was a good one for me. Before I watched it, I felt like I had seen it already. I did not realize that it was brand new. I figured that it was just one that I had not seen yet. I feel like I have missed probably 10 or 20 episodes. I was on it for years...then got sick of. The episodes in later seasons lacked consistency comedy wise. Now with IMDB, I rate them all so I can distinguish between the good ones and bad ones. I stopped DVR'ing a few years back bc I get sick of watching them on Sunday and not laughing. What's the point? But...watching episodes now and again is good...and rewatching the better ones is definitely the way to go. The bad thing is when there is 1 or 2 laughs in an entire episode. The episode stinks...but there's a darn good line or scene I may not ever see again.

Funny! And a good message
mmurphy-7973514 December 2020
Really was a fun and entertaining episode. It kinda brought back the old family guy jokes with the same dark humor we're all familiar with. I am happy to say that this episode was one of the more memorable Christmas episodes of family guy. I recommend this to anybody who wants to get in the Xmas mood. 10/10! Merry Christmas everyone.

Great Episode
straycatbri14 December 2020
Way better than the last Christmas episode, it did have a few gags that I appreciated and a couple funny ones. It was an interesting enough plot where it didn't have to rely on jokes. Compared to the other episodes I am just grateful this isn't politics. It makes it so uncomfortable to watch with family! No, this was no season eight episode but it seems like a savior compared to the others. The grinch scene.. the ending.. the beginning.. almost every part of it was either funny or realistic.

The lois episodes were refreshing this season.
sunsnow-1205629 August 2021
Warning: Spoilers
Lois hardly gets her own episodes, so i think that Lois getting two episodes this season was great. It was still little enough to make it refreshing and interesting to watch. I'm glad they left the good writing to lois's two episodes. The Grinch scenes highlight the animators capabilities and was my favorite part of the episode, and this episode is entirely centered around lois's character development while still being entertaining. Reminiscent of one of the first family guy Christmas episodes, but more fresh and new. I hope to see more episodes like this for meg too, but not too many because then it will get boring.

Great Christmas episode!

This episode was amazingly interesting. It may seem like a rehash of A Freakin sweet Christmas from years ago, but this episode has more unique elements to its premise, which became great overall. 9.9/10.

One of the few times Peter is ever a responsible parent and it has a hilarious Grinch parody in it.
