MTV News reporter spends awards-show night chatting with George Clooney and chasing Lindsay Lohan and Diddy.

On Sunday, I covered my fourth (fifth? It's all getting a bit fuzzy in my mid-30s) Golden Globes, and let me tell you, it was wild! I laughed with George Clooney, bro'd out with Michael Fassbender, ogled Michelle Williams' trophy up close, and capped the night off with Diddy and Lindsay Lohan. I also was in bed eating a piece of cheesecake from room service before midnight. All of these things are true. Such is the bizarre event the Hollywood Foreign Press puts on every year. You're a sketchy odd bunch, but you throw a hell of a party, guys! Thanks for the memories.
I've been lucky enough to cover the Oscars and the entire awards-show circuit the past few years at MTV News,...

Tomorrow is Meredith Vieira's last day co-anchoring 'The Today Show,' but after five years of fun with Matt Lauer, Ann Curry, Al Roker and the rest of the 'Today' gang, they won't let her leave without a big goodbye.
This morning, each of her fellow 'Today' reporters shared their favorite moments with Meredith, including travel, some flubs and producer Meredith trying to wrangle Hoda and Kathie Lee.
Lauer, her co-anchor, said it best: "You don't take yourself too seriously -- you never have. You're willing to laugh with a lot of other people, but also at yourself. And I think that's been a terrific quality to have."
But the walk down memory lane got Vieira a little choked up. "For me, it's just being with all of you ... and I get excited every day," she said, tearing up. "This is...

Last season of 'Criminal Minds' was rough on everyone -- Hotch lost his ex-wife and is now left to raise their son by himself, and Rossi was tested as the team tracked a vicious serial killer.
Of course, we're also losing Jj this season (A.J. Cook will only be in two episodes to wrap up her storyline), and we'll be seeing quite a bit less of Prentiss (star Paget Brewster has said this season will be her last). So where does that leave the Bau team? With secrets, that's where.
I hit the L.A. set to get the scoop on Season 6 (Wednesdays, 9Pm Et on CBS) from stars Joe Mantegna and Thomas Gibson, and they both told me that secrets are a big theme this year. So will there be romance for Hotch as he juggles work and single parenthood?...

Today sees the release of the fifth season of Criminal Minds, CBS’ hit series about FBI profilers investigating the worst of human nature. Here’s a look at what you can expect within that six-disc, 23-episode box set.
The Show
Criminal Minds is one of CBS’ most popular shows, following in the shadow of the CSI and Jag/NCIS franchises, and taking after them now that the network has greenlit a spinoff series (Criminal Minds: Suspect Behavior). The show’s survived a lot, be it the abrupt departure of its original lead actor or a controversy surrounding its female cast members. This season is the one that may be overshadowed by the announcement of the spinoff (the backdoor pilot for which is included here) or the breaking news of A.J. Cook’s release from the cast, but it’s still another workmanlike season for the show.
In all honesty, this...
