First episode got a good grip on me, and I binged the whole thing at one sitting. Being a fan of Harlan's books, his deal with Netflix is one that I hope will generate many more series. The whole "choosing different countries for each series" is absolutely GENIUS! It gives space for his books' fans to explore different cinematographic styles, to approach different types of acting, discover new actors/directors outside of the Hollywood "bubble", which has become quite boring and old, tbh.
The acting intensifies its quality and it holds through the emotional development immaculately. The actors portraying Pawel have impeccable sync, and they mimic each other pretty well throughout the whole series. The soundtrack is a nostalgia-festival if you lived in the 90's, and the vibe of the series is pretty precise to its age. It is well edited, it plays around with your emotions, holds your attention, and it does mystery a huge favour. Well developed series, I'm glad it gave the chance to explore Polish cinema/culture/etc., it's definitely worth the watch.
